    Told myself I wasn't going to get a PS 5 for a while. But once I saw the announcement. I was off clicking away trying to get one. Was lucky enough to get one at Target. Preferred Best Buy and do store pick up but I spent a hour clicking with no luck. Only worry about Target order for me is how they pack it and ship it. I have received some pretty beat up packaging when I order from Target.

    Now my only problem is trying to find time to play it when it comes.

    Nope, I was really counting on Playstation to come through on that "We're going to give you plenty of notice prior to pre-orders." promise. I was also hoping I secure one of the direct from Playstation pre-orders. Neither of those happened - but who knows, I picked up a launch day PS4 on Black Friday by luck back when it came out.

    Yeah, I hear you. Although, I don't think it was entirely their fault. Walmart tweeted right after that they weren't going to make us wait and then the other retailers followed suit. Don't know how Sony could have Co trolled that. Damn, sorry to hear that. That's amazing you were able to get one. Impressive!

    I'm mostly disappointed that Playstation didn't communicate better about their Direct Pre-order program. They only sent out the emails today letting people know if they got into the program, they should have told people a week ago that they got it, so others knew to plan accordingly. Regardless, it's just a video game console, I'll get it eventually.

    For you hardcore gamers and longtime players, there's a mini-docuseries on Netflix called High Score. It's the history of video games. Kind of interesting.

    I went to pre-order when Walmart dropped them last night. Got it in my cart, went through all the steps, as soon as I went to the payment screen it told me they were no longer available and took them out of my cart. Oh well. Not desperate for one.

    Yeah, I tried for an hour, refreshing on any site I could....no dice.

    With that said, there are 2 Gamestops and a Walmart within 5 minutes of each other, *and* one of them (Gamestop) is on an Army post....so I can just show up @ opening time on 12 November and get one of them then. :)

    Additionally, on 22 September Walmart is opening up some more, so I can try then.
