    Good day guys,

So i ask this toyota dealership service near me If they do lifts on tundra
(my first truck so bear with me which i have a little knowledge about lifting stuff)
and then they just said that they just do 3" 2" and price is 1550 CAD with no explanation on me
(i want them to do the lifting so no warranty will be voided in the truck)
When i search about lifting truck theres different kinds of lifting and now im confused about lifting which why i am here now seeking for guidance of experienced people about this stuff.

Im looking for about 3" lift to put 18rims with 33s rubber( i want aggresive looking tire if i could and will do a little offroading with my free time) im on CA right now i really appreciate it if you guys can help me build my way the RIGHT WAY.

    Thanks

The lift that they will be performing will be the ready lift kit. It's not the best option, but if it keeps the warranty, why not.

You can also recommend Tuff Country 2.5 lift instead.

I had the 2.5" front spacer paired with bilstein 5100 bottom setting in my Tundra with rear airbags to lift the rear.

You can getaway with 285.65.18 or 275.70.18 to achieve your 33".

I will be moving to PEI next week. I will be purchasing another Tundra once I'm up there. But, I might do the Toytec coil overs this time around.

$1177 USD seems high for a spacer lift. I haven’t heard of anyone losing their warranty for doing a lift somewhere besides the dealer. You can fit 33” on a stock tundra. Unless you want to overspend, look around some more like at the bilstein 5100 or 6112.

I know all dealers are different, but I have a lift and mine did an alignment under warranty when I took it in for one of my free oil changes.

I had the dealer put on 6112’s on highest setting that I supplied, and then had them do alignment. It was the first set of those coil overs they’d seen. I got a lot of questions from the service guys, they seemed to like them a lot. They charged me like $400 for install and alignment and I had no worries about warranty. I did the rear 5160’s myself, very straight forward process. I’d stay away from a spacer lift if you plan on taking it off road. Even mild trails can have those “oh shit” moments when the pucker factor surprises you.

That won't be hard. That dealer is charging way to much for a crappy spacer lift. If you want to save a little $ just do the 6112s at 1.9" and nothing on rear.

Pretty much any shop can do 6112s, but you will have to explain the settings and make sure they have the instructions as a lot of people haven’t seen those. I actually had mine done at the Ford dealer in town. Had to explain the setting thing to the service guy and the tech. But they did a good job. Alignment shouldn’t be too hard for them since it’s not that much from stock at 1.9”.

Post where you are and maybe someone on here can recommend a local shop.
