New Toy

A little about my self long time viewer of the forum but never posted . Started with a 2013 Tundra Texas Edition Crewmax 4.6l in magnetic grey had that till 2015 when I got a Tundra TSS Crewmax 4.6l in Barcelona red (I know I’m dumb). Mods done to that where a 3/1 ready lift, spyder headlights and 285/65r20 on stock TSS rims. Traded that in last week with 81000 on the odometer and got myself a brand new baby. 2020 Tundra TRD Sport 4x4 5.7l in Barcelona red . Yes I know I love me some red. The plan is to update you guys on the progress and mods to come. Here are some pics of past and current tundra

 

First mod for the new baby was a proper wash , chemical Decon, light polish, and proper graphene ceramic coat. Along with Xpel ceramic tint on all windows except windshield.

 

Next mod was put a tundra insert in the back tailgate

 

Yes the mod bug hit fast so next mod was blackout all the emblems . Also if you notice the background looks like I’m at a tire shop ... I could not stand the wheels and tires so time for an upgrade but what....

 

Wheels and tires are choose where as follows. 20x9 +20 Fuel Rebel in 275/60r20 Cooper at3 4S no rubbing at all just took off front mud flaps. Here it is . Next mod will be Toytec Aluma in the near future .

I have to ask what is a proper graphene ceramic coating??? Who makes this mysterious coating you speak of and who applied it?

 

Nice truck. These trucks are money pits, when all is said and done you'll have a $70k or more after all the mods you put in.

Haha who knows if it is proper I am an avid hobby detailer. Just do close friends and family cars when they need it . I don’t know much about it it is form Adams it is an advertised 7 years I know more like marketing BS. I’ve tried other of the big brands before But wanted to see what this would do. I did a chemical decon with ironx snow foam, then a nanoskin scrub down. Polished out with Carpro essence, wipes down with coating prep and coated the whole vehicle .

 

Yes just an overlay

 

Now I need to find someone local to buy my wheels and tires that came on the truck .

Bro you just threw down a top 10 of a reply. Please join us on the detail threads. You had me at ironX. Big welcome and I would love to know how that coating preforms. I’m not a Adams fan waiting for another big manufacturer to release something. I have cquartz on my rides and love carpro.

 

Haha thank you, I have not been a fan of Adams until their mega foam came out works amazing in the foam cannon. I’m a foam-addict... but thought why not give it a shot. Application was extremely easy so thumbs up for that, so far maintenance washes have been easy. We shall see if it lasts . I have a little detailing setup in the garage I’ll have to post a pic maybe in the detailing forums. Have like 10 led shop lights in a 2 car garage for paint correct lol.
