Yes, mine is being finicky as well. It finally connected, and when I went out for a 5 mile test run, it lost connection and wouldn't reconnect? I had to input my serial number 3 times initially, haven't messed with again, but will tonight.

I just purchased a Pedal commander, like the unit very much , the truck is very responsive. I have a Bluetooth version , but connection with my cellphone is a problem. Tried reaching out to the company, with no specific help , just generic links on how to connect. I may send it back for a refunds .

I would be curious to see if anyone did some pre and post zero to 60 times with this unit...

That’s strange, I wonder why a few of you are having trouble with connecting it to the phone, mine connected within seconds and it’s worked every time I open the app...hope you guys get it figured out!

and @Snowcat4360 i plan on doing a video for my channel on the “0-60”, I’ve had a couple followers ask about that so I’m going to record it for the channel!

I tried connecting when I first got in the truck, no go for five times. Drove 5 miles, upon starting the truck and trying again, it connected immediately and subsequent disconnects resulted in immediate reconnects? IDK??

Tried Sport+ without any +'s, damn near snapped my head off ! Truck launched like you wouldn't believe.:burnrubber: I am playing around with all modes, I should have not started with City +2 , but am getting a feel . Eco +2 seems like it'll be good for snowy roads...

I tried connecting mine again via Bluetooth and it finally took it. What’s weird is that once connected with Bluetooth I'm getting a little bit of surging on the setting that I've been using for the past several days. The surging was not there before using the Bluetooth feature.

When applying light throttle to maintain speed I can feel the truck go, then let up, then go again multiple times. When I left work yesterday I unplugged the pedal commander and put the factory plug back in to see if the surging disappeared which it did. I'm going to plug the pedal commander back in today without using Bluetooth and see if it's still surging or not.

That’s a good point on the eco mode, never thought of that being useful for snowy roads!...and yea, sport+ is crazy!...hahaha

I’ve noticed there’s a couple settings mine will do that on as well, but it’s only 2 that I’ve seen so far...luckily they’re not settings I use...haha

Are the two settings that surge doing that only when Bluetooth is connected? Wondering if the Bluetooth is the culprit. Mine was happening on Sport +1 which I thought was the perfect setting. It didn't do that over the past few days on that setting until I enabled the Bluetooth feature.

It’s happening with Bluetooth on or off...my 2 settings that it happens on are city (+1) and sport (+1)...it’s strange, thankfully that’s the only issue I’ve come across but it’s not a big deal to me since I don’t use them settings at all

Just looking online for similar comments and came across this. I don't have anything else installed except for a remote start with the CL6 phone module. I guess I'll try another setting and see what happens. I don't really need the Bluetooth function so I'll just keep it unpaired.

Interesting...….. My phone is bluetoothed to the radio, which didn't cause any surging. I really don't need to be linked via Bluetooth either, so I'm with you and will leave it unpaired.. I'm getting up the nerve to try Sport+ +4...…………….:muscleflexing:

I had zero trouble with mine on my Tacoma and it was on there almost a year.

For those having issues... Did you buy direct from PC ? or did you possibly buy a counterfeit chinese copy from ebay or Amazon ?

Mine was from Toytec so I feel pretty confident it's authentic.

Good to know!...still no issues at all, I actually bought one for my wife’s Rav4 I liked it so much...no issues with hers either, paired right up to phone and works like a charm...I’ll keep everyone updated if I do have any issues on my Tundra or her RAV4!

I wonder if the PC APP can be displayed through the display on the radio somehow. Now that would be slick :burnrubber:

Yea I don’t think that can be displayed through CarPlay, but I do know there’s a harness out there to mirror your phone onto the truck display, that’s the only way I know of right now...would be sweet!

Heads up for anyone getting weird hesitation or twitchy acceleration in any modes. (I would get it in sport+2 and city +2 I think)
I sent pedal commander a message and Larry there responded back to me within an hour and pushed a firmware update to my PC. Way smoother across the board and no issues so far. Super customer service also - I’m really impressed.

great info on this thread.. I'm new to my 2019 Pro and thought that it was quite sluggish even compared to my 2008 Titan... then FB read my mind and started pushing Pedal Commander ads onto my page.. so weird how that works...

so I looked it up here and decided to try the "Haul" (@$$) button press...
dayammmmn! that's the Pro I was expecting! thanks!! (except for my tires and gas bill)

on last weekend road trip I was passing other cars (legal speeds, officer) and my daughter woiuld say "I am speed" from the passenger seat

now I want to see her reaction after I pop her head back....

    I will use sparingly...

THANKS!!! (still not sure I'll drop $300 on PC)

Nice!...yea I used that “turbo” button a lot before the PC, a lot of fun for sure...PC just takes it to another level, you should try Sport+ mode on the PC AND the tow/haul...tires spin before you even hit the gas
