Cool! I'd love to see some pics. I've always want a set that included each of his knives. Tought to find anything of real quality though.

For display, it depends how you want to do it. A clear plastic tiered rack like the knife stores have would work. You could mount them in a shadow box and the on the wall.

I like the Griptilian so much I bought two of them. I have a Kershaw Ken Onion design as well but it's big and heavy. I really like the Benchmade stuff.

I was gifted a The James Brand, Chapter. I love that knife also for edc. They make some really nice stuff but it's $pendy!

What is it about Oregon and knife companies? Crazy.

Just realized I'm running around with a fillet knife. Never know when I'll have to jump out of the truck to perform an emergency fish fillet. Ha Ha.20191227_201833[1].jpg

I’ve carried that exact Kershaw for years now. The only issue I’ve had is the blade will loosen up from time to time so I have to retighten it. I got a Havalon Piranta for Xmas so I’ll probably start carrying that....by far the sharpest knife I’ve ever owned and the blades are easily and cheaply replaceable.

Anyone know of a display case for knives? I knives from Rambo 1, 2, 3 and 4 and I would like to display they in a case rather than have them sitting in their original boxes.

They make great knives. They actually produced the dagger looking knife as well.

That is awesome. Had two of Daniel’s knives many years ago. (Had to sell a lot of my knives to pay for other things)

We lived in Chicago while my dad attended Northwestern. Two friends and I road tripped across the US one summer, had a blast, great memories. Have driven down to Florida to party. Have taken the kids to Disney a few times. Last week, the boys and I day dreamed and looked at actual Texas properties on the market, so much more house and land if we sold our current homes. Wait, what am I still doing up here? Lol

I'm not sure what you're doing but I'm enjoying publically funded healthcare, no hurricanes and the opportunity for my wife to work in her chosen field.

Just bought this while on vacation. We vacation every year in North Conway where Sawyer-River is and he always has a great selection to pick from.

This was last year’s purchase. Microtech Socom Elite manual. I don’t daily carry this beast. More of a “souvenir” from the trip.

Yes, definitely pros/cons either way. I know both my wife and I could easily get jobs in our respective fields. I guess what keeps us where we are is our families/friends, as you said a working universal health care, and not uprooting our kids. My parents moved around a lot so I never maintained childhood friendships, that can have an effect on adult relationships and I don't want to do that to our kids. Still not liking the cold winters though!
