I paid $1144.30, .120 DOM powder coated, it took 8 weeks to make. I love them, doesn’t hang low.

Nice! My next mod on the list. Hopefully they again do a Black Friday sale for that extra 15% off. I’ll probably end up picking them up to avoid shipping costs.

Curious, can that Rear Diamond plate be removed easily? On the fence on whether or not I should get it.

@TownTRD seems like it’s easy to take off, you can see in one of the pics there’s 4 silver rivets/nuts that can be removed. I just got them today. I got it so there won’t be no huge gap there my son would lose his foot in there or my wife

You also have the option to not add the diamond plate to the sliders, or add full diamond plate across the whole thing

Yeah, the gap in these WKOR are wide enough to catch a heel... or break a dog’s leg. As much as I don’t prefer the look, getting some of it plated is a good safety move.

They did a great job on mine for my 1st gen as well. I didn't get the diamond plate and my wife and I have no issues using the slider as a step. No regrets.

I love mine! Fairly easy install. Hardest part is drilling through the frame.

I am considering the White Knuckle sliders for my 2020 CM Tundra.

For those with these sliders, do they stick out far enough to prevent door dings and to be used as a step to get in/out of the truck?

Because the truck is new, I don’t want to drill holes in the frame....yet. Living in the rust belt, I dont want to do anything to encourage rust.

So if just using them as a step and not sliding over boulders, would I need to drill any of the 10 holes into the underside of the frame?

    Thanks for your input!!

They stick out far enough to prevent small cars from hitting you. Any SUV or truck door will be high enough to pass over them and still hit you. They work great as a step.

If just using as a step and not as a true slider, you won't need to drill. I used mine as steps until I had correct drill bit and time to drill mine out.

JewsNbrews - your explanation relative to door dings makes perfect sense. Did your sliders rattle while driving or do anything else unexpected during the time they weren’t mounted to their drilled holes?

TheBeast - very nice! I assume you drilled and bolted yours on as well?

Thank you both for the replies!

I hope to order these soon. Shipping costs to the East Coast is brutal!

Those are very clean. I dig the lil' step for getting into the bed.

Hey, do I see a front bumper end w/bed-liner sprayed on it? I want that. If it is, did you have to de-chrome?
    Thank you.

Nope. They sit good and flush to the frame. Even without the drilled holes and bolts placed into the bottom of the frame these are super solid with no flex, even with standing on them.

yes drilled and bolted but as @jewsNbrews is saying even if no extra drilled bolts, the 5 side bolts are sturdy enough on their own. This is high quality product

I got the full diamond plating. I had them LineXd. They are really solid and I haven’t yet drilled the bottom ones in yet either. No movement at all

Dammit @Platinum714 I just purchased Demello hybrids. Wanted to go full plate on the wkor but couldn’t find any photos of them on a tundra. Also justified it as I’d be saving 250 bucks. Welp, after seeing your truck I’m pretty sure I’ll be calling them tomorrow and see if I can sell my Demello’s for cost. :annoyed:

It’s also nice to have the top plate when I have to wash the truck, there is a solid footing to slide your feet on!

Definitely! I need it as I have a 2 year old and a newborn. So lots of climbing in and out in the future. Thanks for the convincing, should have gone with my gut to begin with! Did you have that line-X’d in OC or up near wnor?

I dealt with the Huntington Beach LineX and he was great to work with. I also had him LineX the front bumper cover for my victory front bumper. The extra pieces seemed a fair price $80 for all three pieces. If you need any powder coating there is a place pretty close that’s reasonable also, Primo Powder Coating & Sandblasting.
