That's a shackle but not an OEM deal. It appears to be one of these guys.

(Camper conversion underway.) Rebuilt engine w/265K miles, A.R.E. camper shell (w/cab pass-through, rooftop fan, and side windows delete), bedlinered steel ladder rack (w/wooden rooftop deck and hammock mount), all LED lights (red dash, 4" side floods, 32" rear bar), Android head unit, 1.5" lift from Bilstein 5100 struts, 32" DuraTrac tires on factory rims, 1.5" wheel spacers, Moog suspension parts, SuperSprings leaf kit, diff drop, Reese trailer brake control, GoRhino Hitch Step, debadged, F-150 rear bumper, Sequoia center console unit upgrade, partial rear bench seat delete, dashcam, aftermarket speakers, 50% sound deadening coverage, custom tools unit.
Here's a video of the sound. I'm 90% sure it's coming from the shackle but these things can be hard to determine the source of. Please note that not long ago I tried to spray some parts with lubricant as a band-aid fix to the squeak, to no avail.

Thanks for the response bud. I suppose I could reach out to SuperSprings and see if they'd sell me a shackle? Probably not good to mismatch with a Dorman or OEM; however, it looks like they're not available for sale separately.

There should be a little plastic puck thing so the leaf spring slides. It looks like it may be missing

Is this what you're referring to? You're right, that side is missing the front one for some reason. Passenger side has both though. Maybe the lack of insulator killed the shackle. Hard to think that a little plastic part can have that effect...

Looks like it but replacing it may not last long since the roller from the spring probably smashed the old one.

FWIW, I didn't install it, the previous owner did. I wouldn't install one on my own.

I feel the same way about my bug guard. It came with the truck. I never would have purchased one. But I've grown to like it. On most 18 year old trucks, the hoods are completely trashed by rocks. Mine looks new. And I don't know if it actually deflects bugs, but I seem to get fewer than any vehicle I've ever owned. The Rav4's hood started to get really beat up so I actually added a bug deflector to try and save what's left of the paint.

Mmmmmm the grill is factory color although a bit faded due to weather and the fact my truck has 216k miles and has lived in the wonderfully cold Canadian winters.

@theblurry1 that looks like a spring keeper and not a shackle. A rare shaped one at that.

My springs were as badly splayed as yours at one time until I jacked the rear up until the wheels were barely touching ground and left the axle weight in neutral weight. This allowed the springs to be straightened back using some levers and light hammer tappings.

I was able to get them straight enough to install some u-bolts over them to prevent future splay. I did this as a cheap measure until deciding what to do per new springs. The silencer pads on mine are non-existant. I have some kind of bump clunk going on when turning up inclines. Probably the springs rubbing metal to metal.

Not as economically feasible, but it's a nice kit allowing you to thread a tap into the housing for future treatments without excavating everything, I like the Frigi-Clean kit from BG. I've even used it on one of my single female friends' Corollas to conquer a recurring mildew clog issue she'd been having that flooded her floorboards several times in recent years. Was recurring once every 8-10 months. Two successive treatments 2 months apart a couple years ago and it has yet to return.

Works wonders to clear out and freshen up, but remove any debris from the housing first in our trucks since we have no cabin filter.

I don't know the best place to tap into our trucks for this kit, I meant to look it up or ask here because I want to treat my truck soon. They give a very specific process of running the engine with climate controls full blast for X# minutes, leave off for C # minutes, then run again for X# of minutes. The color of goo it drains out the condensate nipple is eye-opening. Rinses away clean after. My kit came with a deodorizer spray to shoot into the vents that lasts for weeks.

YMMV, just sharing my experience. It's spendy, but the product is used widely enough in the industry that major chains offer it as a cleaning service with this specific product. No reason you can't use the cheaper stuff for home evap coil cleaning, I suppose. But this product does work as advertised!

PS - the link I put up there has videos to YouTube on how to use the product, but it also comes with instructions if you buy the kit. I haven't found a place to buy single cans. I got my last couple of kits for $35 off FleaBay a couple years back, just before I got the Tundra. If anyone finds a deal on the kit or has access to get single cans on the cheap, I'd love to know. I have kits for all our cars currently. Just need more cans!

Good to know. I actually pioneered this cleaning technique here with our 1st Gens by removing the Blower and Shooting a nozzle up the hole into the Coils. I used Silicone Spray to soften the dry cack the day before and then blasted the coil with a garden hose and gun in strategic fashion. Once dry, I sprayed a light Silicone Film on the Coils for dust repellency.

Our drain holes and the access seem fine so I see no need for tapping another.

I think you misunderstand what I mean. This product gives you a brass fitting to tap onto the evap coil housing so you can just shoot the coil cleaner foam in anytime you want without future disassembly.

The other way is work once (drill a single hole, screw in fitting) and attach a can to the fitting any time you want to clean :D

AC went out at home and it's actually cooler outside so I put a coat of spray wax on the truck. Only took 20 minutes. I like this stuff.

You're right, they are splayed about 1/2 in. I'll have to take another look in the morning, but it seems like you think extra u-bolts would temporarily fix the problem so I'm willing to try that. Can you send me the link to where you got yours when you had a similar issue?

The problem started quite a few years ago. I didn’t correct it until deciding to keep the truck. I bought some 2 3/8” ubolts from autozoned (4total). Those were slipped over the leafs but you need to allow for the spring movement as designed so take care in sinching them.

At the time I had no Momba Impact, or I would have used that with some type of heavy clamp to impact the leafs back into place. Instead I used a series of clamps that I wrenched on each end and tap hammered them back as close as possible. I’ll try to find a picture and post it up on that old thread you found.

I like the yellow fogs on this. I take it that's aftermarket? Does someone sell new lenses or lens covers or something?

Yeah the spray wax is neat. It doesn't even look like wax. It doesn't seem to have the buffing qualities that normal wax does but will make it shine, and water bead up.
I'm going to try a bottle of this stuff on the Rav4 next. https://www.tundras.com/threads/griot’s-3-in-1-ceramic-wax-review.69090/

Received my @Coupe battery hold down. Looks great. Need to get the Optima spacer to use it though...Idk what I did with that thing. I've been using a cheap $10 Amazon thing to keep the battery in "place". Also, this will force me to clean my engine bay so that's a plus!
