Nope sliders are rock solid. The flimsy stock bumper bent from a minor rub and scratched the bed. Will replace with appropriate protective piece.

Added Diode Dynamics SS3. Pretty easy install, but ended up removing the entire factory housing and then inserting them through the front. I can create a build / install thread if you want.

Great pics! I’m thinking about adding the retro color accents like you have on your grill.

Hurricane Creek Road. Tops out near Max Patch mountain. Max Patch was packed because it’s an easy hike with big rewards. But the trail was silent. Loved getting there the hard way. 997D736C-7980-412B-B377-B6A687B75262.jpg

Did you turn off of 40 behind the Harmon Den sign or come in the other way?

Turned right off 40. Weird to turn off directly into a trail off the interstate.

I used to ride that about 10 years ago when I was young enough to ride Enduro. Looked like a good time other than the bumper.

Dropped off for 5.29 and Grip Pro installation. Pumped and yet bummed for the 500 mile break-in period.

I have an easy way for you to get that 500 miles and then some.... It's only a 29 hour drive out here to Wyoming to do a full paint correction, detail, and ceramic coat on a Cavalry Blue Tundra.

All jokes aside, what has you upping the gears? Are you adding a rear locker with them?

Man i hate that happened but glad you're ok. And as mentioned before that grille and surround would look good on my truck, lol. And I'm closer.

Lol quite a bit more than 500mi.

Tire size for one (on 35s currently). Does fine with the stock tow package 4.30s but when I tow, gas mileage is considerably lower and shift points are funky. Just thinking long term for less stress on everything, I'm going to 5.29s. General idea is better towing performance, some return on the low end, and the eventual need to upgrade to 37s that is inevitably coming lol.

And not a true locker in the rear. Dont offroad as much as I'd like (mainly dont want to explode a truck I use for the business and towing) so couldn't justify the cost of an ARB or Eaton. Went with the PowerTrax Grip Pro LSD.

When I showed my wife, she just kinda gave me that look...but sometimes it’s the little things. I ordered this off eBay for $48! Was skeptical of the quality, but it is very nice and the leather grain matches almost perfectly. Just received and installed a TRD style shift knob.

I know how you feel. I blacked out most of the chrome in the interior on mine using AJT and she didn't even notice. She uses the truck 5 days a week to go to work also. Lol

Just “proves” ;) I need a protective rear bumper for going where I want to. Took off the cap and there’s a bit of Scratching/damage. Looking into ordering soon. Know there’ll be a lead time but it’s not bothering me too bad and it just happened. Not my first scratch. Just first body damage...if I keep doing this probably spring for a front bumper soon after.

This was a few weeks ago before the fires stated and we could still breathe out here in the PNW. Truck bed-liner sprayed the nerf bars/side steps. Used Rust-Oleum. Hardest part was waiting for them to dry so I could reinstall.MVIMG_20200906_131515.jpg MVIMG_20200906_131502.jpg MVIMG_20200906_153324.jpg MVIMG_20200906_153335.jpg MVIMG_20200906_131311.jpg MVIMG_20200906_153345.jpg

I think so too. If you black out the trim ring on the control knobs it would probably be better imo.
