Had one back in the day. Found myself carrying it over one shoulder like casually wearing a backpack. If I wore it on my hips it would pull my short/pants down. Now my man-purse is one of those small backpacks about the size of a 3L Camelback. It's from Mountain Hardware, but they don't make it any longer. It's lasted for a very long time and it has many varied sized pocket/compartments where I can put small things like earplugs/headphones/swiss army knife without them filtering to the bottom of a large compartment, like a stereotypical women's purse. It also has a compartment for a 3L water bladder (Camelback) for motorbike days.

I’ll have to look at something like that. Not sure how big I need so I’ll have to check out some of camelback’s offerings. Thanks for the tip!

I basically live in shorts whenever it's feasible. Even in winter. I've just gotten used to making sure the shorts have a pocket I can clip my knife to, and carry my truck key in. Phone and wallet are in my hand.

There is a reason Oakley and other companies are making them again. They, as well as mullets and large reflective sunglasses and eighties length shorts and designs are popular again with younger generations. If you wear a fanny pack now you will be an OG Boomer.

I'm not sure it that's the worst or the best fanny pack ever. :monocle:

I have a fang I wear when I hike to carry my pistol in. One pull of a cord and the pistol is fully exposed

My opinion is you should stop wearing basketball shorts all the time if you don’t play basketball all the time.

I wouldn't fuck with a man wearing a fanny pack. These days he's most likely got a small 9mm in it. They have become somewhat popular for concealed carry lately.

But seriously, if you think it would help you carry your stuff, get one. Who cares what other people think.

Never, ever, ever...didn't have one back in the day and it hurts my eyes to see them becoming popular now. The designs haven't even been updated; same horrible hot-nut-sack look.

But if you do, rock it with pride...

I have plenty of shorts with belt loops but when I’m on my day off and not in uniform I like to wear something that is a bit more comfortable.

I have a fanny pack I use when I hike, it has a quick release holster inside. Usually have a revolver with half snake shot half regular shot.

If you are rocking that, you better be able to John Wick some mofos. And you probably talk about 147 vs 124 and what spring weight to run and watch Trex videos.
