    Its true,

The agruement of King vs Fox vs Radflo, vs progressive shocks is basically picking a color.

I will only say, based off experience on use, ADS would be the only outlier simply due to materials used. They have one of, if not, the best shock finish in the industry.

Obviously the arguement deepens with an Icon vs discussion.

King would have better mfg support for your purple request right out of the Gate.

As others have said, pick a color. But more importantly, choose the brand of shocks your favorite/best/most reputable shop works with, not only sell but also maintain and prep.

That’s the best advice to take. They all need to be rebuilt at some point so find a shop that will do it all for you.

I've had both, I loved both. I liked the ride of the Kings a bit better, but as AccuTune says in that article The shafts were a problem on my Kings, I had to replace shafts twice in about 120k miles.

I live on the coast and run the beach and drop boats in salt water alot, even with lots of cleaning the first set of king shafts pitted in less than 100k miles, and I got them replaced, then about 10k miles later a got a rock chip on one of my rear shafts that cause a seal to fail which meant I had to get them rebuilt again.

I had over 100k miles on my first set of foxes and they still sealed well and rode good when I sold the truck, so I have foxes on order from AccuTune for this truck.
