Howdy y'all. I've been snooping around the forum for a while and just decided to make an account. I got a 2008 DC 4x4 5.7 tundra for my college graduation gift from my parents (they're awesome, I know.)
I bought it how it is, 3/1 lift skyjacker lift (at least the front shock says skyjacker on it). 20x9 XD monsters with 275/65/20 Nitto terras and flowmaster exhaust.
No build plans until I have another vehicle to DD, except to change wheels and tires which I'm still trying to figure out. which is why I was doing all the snooping ;)

Awesome truck man. You have some very nice parents with deep wallets.
Why are you going to change the wheels? What are you thinking of replacing them with?

I'm just not the biggest fan of these and with all the other chrome on the truck I would rather have a lighter colored wheel.
I'm wanting 20x9 machine face Method Standard, I believe. I just haven't figured out a tires size yet.
Definitely Nitto trail grapplers in either 305/55/20, 295/60/20, or 35/12.5/20. I just want no rubbing since it's a DD and I don't really want to mess with cutting wheel wells and stuff.

Since you don't like chrome (99% of us here) you should swap the door handles and mirrors too.

It's a good tire I have no complaints. I just want a more aggressive tire.

I actually wouldn't mind doing that. Are they just covers and pop off of do I have to buy complete new door handles and mirrors

I purchased ome ones and swapped it out. the covers pop off from the tabs from behind the mirrors.

The handles are changed from the side of the door with a hex wrench.

Took my side steps off. Didn't realize how much higher it was going to look. I wanted to change the 3inch lift to a 6inch but now I like this height.

Also mounted my Mag light and a cheap glock holster inside the glove compartment
