Lunar Rock trucks are on the ground...and I don't like them.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
I've seen RAV4's in person this color. It's not too bad but I wouldn't want my Tundra with it. The Tundra is too big to pull it off. That color is best on smaller vehicles.

My wife has a Rav4 in Lunar Rock and I dig it. I think I would like it on the Tundra, but for now i'm sticking with my Cavalry Blue

I would reserve judgement until I saw one in person. Those pictures in the 1st post are all blurry. I will say I like it on the Rav4.

I think @10TundraSR5 hit it on the head. On a smaller (Rav4) there's enough of it to see, but not tooooo much. There's way too much Irish spring, avocado creama, mint mocha, slug slime, moldy cement, or lunar diarrhea for the billboard, land yacht sized Tundra.
Some bold colors work, this is not bold. This is someone dropping the army green paint into the cement spray booth, and then saying... What happened? Oooo, let's call that lunar shit rock, and people will go crazy over it!

    Nope.

This is a hard F-that color for me. Definitely Not.

We have one. It's the 14th one in the list.

As for the color, not a fan. I'd get a white one before the lunar rock, and that's saying a lot. Some colors look ok on other vehicles, but the Tundra has big flat panels that some colors just don't do well on.

This is what I am thinking. Too much of something isn't always great. With more surface area on the Tundra it can be too much.

Personally, I don’t think this color looks great on a stock TRD pro. However, I do think it will look dope with a slight lift, a mean wheel and tire combo, and some kick ass body armor, and a bed rack…

Yup, everyone thought the army green looked like hell until they started showing up here. Green in general just doesn't seem to be well liked.

The bar of soap thing still killed it for me, but in person it isn't nearly this green. It really looks like a lighter cement gray.

I dont hate it, but am disappointed in how close it is to cement. Having just lost my Pro and considering another, I cant bring myself to spend the extra cash when I know I can save a few bucks and build an SR5 myself. Maybe if the color were more different I would see a compelling reason to buy one.

It could grow on me. I can't believe Toyota still hasn't changed the tires on their Pro! It should have a nice set of AT's at least!!!

    The Toothpaste Tundra.

They took all the leftover Army Green and mixed it with Cement. As if 2020 couldn't get worse, Toyota hits us up with that terrible color.

The rav4s I have been seeing (saw them EVERYWHERE in SF) look like a lighter version of cement, or maybe less saturated is a better way to say it. Cement is a stronger grey. Could be a lighting trick because it wasn't sunny outside, with all the fires around here California has a damn sepia filter on life.

Theres a Lunar rock Rav4 that parks behind my house all the time, when I had my cement taco we occasionally parked next to each other. The cement has more of a blueish/lavender tint whereas the Lunar is clearly more green. To me, the lunar rock always looked a bit darker.

If looking at this picture you're right, but I think its from the green grass they're on. Cement there looks way lighter in this pic than in person, practically looks powder blue here. That grass makes the lunar look more green too, in person it's more grey. Or maybe this is the new "is the dress white and gold, or blue and black" thing. download.jpg

Lol, yes "the dress". Cement is definitely more grey, I guess what I mean to say (probably pointless, like the dress thing) is that the Lunar Rock is just a darker looking color. I actually prefer Cement.

I've never heard anybody say they don't like cement, its an awesome color and almost every manufacturer has a version of it now. I was planning to paint my beetle cement but somebody beat me to it.

I'm with the camp that says lunar looks good on smaller cars.

I'm going to have to see it in person. I hated the 1794's brown mica or whatever color when I saw it on a billboard. Then I saw one in person and ended up driving home in it. I think Toyota's been pretty spot-on when introducing colors. This does look a lot like the Cement to me but to each their own.
