That looks great! Is that on a crew cab or double cab?
Will it work on both? I have a DC.

It’s a crew max. But if you have the double cab they also sell a tent that fits that one as well. But if you have the double cab with the longer bed I would probably just do a camper shell and set up a mattress inside or something. Unless you were taller than 6 1/2 feet then you would have to find an option to have the tailgate down like the bed tent that I have.

My lady and I have found the Exped megamat duo 10 Long Wide sleeping pad , Big Agnes Dream Island Two Person Bag to be a nice combo. Goal Zero Light Setup. All on top of the DECKED system. LEER 122 High Rise topper makes for plenty of headroom.

Two person sleeping bags are THE SHIT, even if you're car camping solo

I love a good stealth camper shell setup. We used to do similar with our first Tundra. Great for long trips where you decide you’re just too tired to drive any more - pull over and climb in for a nap.

is that an e bike? Or is that some kind of storage between the tubes?

Not an eBike - Its Salsa Mukluk Fatbike that has Plus Size tires on it (29"x3") - It has a frame bag that was custom made to fit in the center triangle and provide storage. It rocks!

Here's my setup. Wildwood X-Lite 240 BHXL. Approx 5,300lbs dry. I went to an RV show in Houston earlier this year and couldn't believe how cheap and light these RVs are getting. Picked it up in Feb and been travelling all over Texas since. 2 bunks for the kids and an enclosed master bedroom, with a small slide out for the dining table. Only way to camp in Texas in summer with 2 kids under 5 IMO.

Where’s your favorite place to camp? We have a 6.5 and 3.5 year olds. We love to RV camp on state parks. Stayed on Lake Whitney, west of Waco, early August. Headed to Bastrop State Park in November.

Most if our camping so far has been during Covid, back when the state parks were shut down. Neither private park we went to impressed me too much. Once the state parks reopened we did make it out to Dinosaur Valley. We really liked that park. You could walk down the river to see the Dinosaur tracks (even the 2 year old could do it), and there was a real nice swimming hole. Definitely worth a trip.

We are currently in Martin Creek State Park. The lake is real nice and calm. Lots of places to fish and a large area for kids to play in the lake at a designated swimming area. Not a bad option either. There is a power plant across the lake though.

No issues at all! I came from a Tacoma so this pulls like a dream! With the moonroof the truck is only rated at 8800lbs, so even loaded I’m only about 80% or capacity. Love my Tundra!!

Had a water leak in a pressure side water line but nothing else since. I got a pretty sweet deal on it so it was worth the time to get it fixed. I used to pull it with a Tacoma but with the tundra it's very comfortable.

Hi, really don't know anything about TT market, but I'd like to start learning. When you say "pretty sweet deal" you mean bought it new? used? huge dealer discount? private seller wanting to get rid of it? other? I hope you don't mind me asking.

    Thanks in advance.

I had actually got the money together ($24K) to buy the exact same camper brand new at a dealer the week prior and my wife found this one "used" at a dealer on consignment for $14,900. I showed up and offered $12k, the owner countered with $12,900. Did paperwork and left with it.

The previous owner was one of those guys that bought a camper not knowing what they were getting in to I think. I think he only used it a few times before realizing that campers can be stressful towing, esp under trucked, stressful to set up with out experience or help, and just different living conditions .

Especially since this whole covid thing I bet if you wait a little while you could find a similar situation. The camper sales have gone crazy and I suspect a patient person could find some killer deals from people trying to unload their barely used campers for a song.

When I say "exact same model" I mean down to the stove and oven upgrade and year model, 2019 vs 2019. I could tell the previous owner backed in to some tree limbs (probably provoked the sale) and didnt use anything but the shower from the looks of the tanks.
