I am SO jealous! That looks AWESOME, and is what I plan to do when it fits into my budget. Or if (heaven forbid) someone hits me and I have to replace it anyway!

Once you have the outer shift surround out, the shifter gate snaps out easily. Snaps back in after it is painted. It is definitely the easiest part of all of that to remove and replace. One comment about painting: another inmate here had mentioned that the paint wasn't holding up and they later went with AJT parts. But, I'm finding the paint is working very well for me, not showing any marring, scratching, etc. I think the key is in the sanding and plastic primer. This was an afternoon job for me to remove, prep, paint and reassemble. And, I'm not known for being speedy.

    Tastefully enhanced...
I threw in a primary defense on rodents in my fresh-air intake...so far, so good:

Gutter guard, silicone adhesive, and gorilla tape...I even dropped a couple droplets of peppermint oil on the cabin filter...minty fresh now!

    Thanks Pat!

If you can source an OEM switch panel (the one for underneath the climate controls) from a junkyard or such, the actual recessed block switch housing can be carefully sliced off with a razor blade to be transplanted elsewhere using JB Kwik-Weld or Gorrila Glue.

I have a few spaces left I could do in my rig. I have done the dash one and another for my grille running lights in the lower switch panel that came with the NSV Light Bar.

However, I see that there appears to be more surface planes/areas with a center console that would lend to easy additions...

    Cheers

Hey question for those that have done lift/level. I’m getting my bilstein 6112 front shocks installed tomorrow, with 5100’s in the rear with shackles for 1inch rear lift. Should I go for the 1.9 front lift or 2.5 to be level?

If you are going 1” lift in the rear go 2.5 and you still should have about 3/4” of front rake

Blue accent lighting was added in the recesses of the door handles a couple of days ago. Lights were tapped into the illumination circuit and come on with the dash lights and are dimmable as well.
