Got rid of the chrome grill and added some amber LED’s

 

Taped off the truck then went to work getting rid of the chrome admittedly, not perfect. But as soon as I hit the driveway and a little dust is on it...no one will know but me.

Now for the handles....but that might be a couple weeks...then eventually some new wheels

Has anyone ordered any lights from CW customs? I need to upgrade to LED lights and found this video while doing research. A few more bells and whistles than I need. But at the same time, I like some of the endless choices and they do offer a lot customization. i just want to know if it's a reputable company that makes a good product and strands behind it.

Does the autoloc give the driver auto up/down control of the other windows in which the unit is installed?

 

yeah, if you have them assemble them. if you do it yourself they are about $500 less

 

And then in a few months they leak or start getting condensation.

 

The vast majority of the expired stuff is still good. We give expired stuff to a world Dr. organization and they’ll use almost all of it up to 5 years after expiration date.

I wonder if just buying a OEM switch that says auto will do the same thing?

 

I may be missing the obvious, but what real world purpose would this offer other than looks?

 

Traction bars effectively link the rear axle to the frame, keeping the rear leaf springs from twisting, the axle from rotating and the wheels from digging.
I got them as a gift so figured it won’t hurt anything they do serv a purpose but I don’t drive my truck like that So only cost me a little of my time installing them

 

Painted the bed rails Cleats. The silver was bugging me when everything in the bed is black.

Thanks. Since most things “expire” in about twelve months I usually replace them every 2-3 years. Good to know I can go longer. Although who knows if they last that long in a hot vehicle.

 

Most meds they suggest 85 degrees or cooler (but not freezing). I doubt you have epinephrine, narcan, zofran, amiodarone and meds along those lines.

 

Makes sense, thanks. I agree it would probably have a bigger impact on a supercharged or turbocharged engine where axle wrap could be more of an issue.

 

Exactly I used to install plenty on race cars FWD and RWD I don’t race anymore but thought it they look good and was FREE so why not.

Yepper, so you can use the auto up/down feature from drivers “master” switch panel, or your passengers switch panel also works....hope that helps!
