obviously I have an electrical short somewhere that’s causing my tail light fuse to blow. Has this happened to you and where did you find the short?

    Thanks in advance

First thing to check would be the bulbs. Then the trailer light assembly. Then the wiring underneath to see if anything has pinched or cut it.

If you still have the factory taillights I would go to the dealership because you are still under warranty.

    Not understanding your reply.
You put LED bulbs in? If so check the wire on the base of the LED bulb and make sure it is straight and only touching the connector, sometimes the wire is touching more than the connector and that creates a short.

Sounds light a pinched wire or a bad socket.
I would remove each parking light and try 1 at a time to narrow down the bad socket/wire.

I remember a few other members with the NSV having that same issue.
    Glad you figured it out.

Hey did you happen to figure out the issue with your taillights and nsv? I just installed one and I’m having the same issue.
    Thanks

Usually issues come down to 2 things, one if you have corrected the turn signal wiring prior to nsv light bar install, you have to return the wiring back to original, otherwise the nsv harness won't get right inputs, and you'll blow fuses. The second is the final step of how the nsv plug is wired into the turn signal, depending on your truck, you may or may not have to cut a wire, blue if I remember right. Everything else is factory plugs. Sure NSV is aware of the turn signal problems by now.

Greatly appreciate the information, I do recall that the connector to turn signal required a wire to be cut and if I'm not mistaken unpinned and relocated. Again, thanks for providing some much needed insight to this issue. Be Safe' :hattip:

What ended up being the problem with the patch harness?

    NSV LIGHT BAR
I installed an NSV lightbar on a 2020 Tundra. Blew a fuse 10a. No tail and license plate lights. Did have the recall done prior to the light bar. Now FIXED.
SWITCHED the NSV T-harness at all four connectors. BLUE WIRE & WHITE WIRE, trade places. Then at the headlight connection I de-pinned the WHITE wire which takes care of the driver side parking light being on all the time at the indicator except at the OFF position.

What do you mean by switched all 4 connectors? I was told by the Nsv rep that I only had to switch the 2 at the headlight that connect the blinker.

Are canopy, prinsu roof rack on cab and canopy, NSV hood bulge light bar, LED interior light kit, diode dynamics fog lights, SDHQ switch panel center console, 10 inch sub box behind back seats, huracan fabrication tailgate storage, storage box under back seats
Hey, I've got the NSV hood bulge kit installed as well, during the installation I told was told to cut the wire, but when I did, my front blinkers quit working, so I reconnected that wire and I didn't have any issues for 2 months, until 2 days ago when my tail lights quit working and my fuse kept instantly blowing. I'm not sure what your fix was though, could you help me??
