    Wondering who has opinions about bumper caps vs replacement bumper ends? I hope I'm using the right terms.

    Most of what I've found on youtube and the internet are bumper cap installs where the user installs a cover over their existing chrome bumper end. However, I think it would be better to remove the chrome end piece and replace it with a white end piece.

    Any opinions, thoughts or videos of doing this that anyone is aware of?

    All depends if you are somewhere that rust is a concern. Many folks like the ecologic bumper caps but some don't recommend if you are somewhere that is prone to rust. Since it's a shell over the original bumper, rust can form behind it without you knowing. I believe the painted bumpers are plastic verse your metal original bumpers, in case that bothers you.

    Rust would be a concern. They spread a lot of salt mix around here in the winter for snow melt. I'd rather just put new end caps on and I'm fine if they're plastic. I'll still have the metal ones around in case I change my mind.

    Had to get rid of that factory antenna. The shorter rubber one looks SO much better! It’s made by Metra and so far I haven’t had any reception issues.

    the spacers are garbage. I had to use two. One hammered into the shifter then another stacked behind it to get it to thread on.

    but it’s on there now and doesn’t move.
