What s the alternative? Your perspective would help me gain a better understanding of all of this. To me the alternative would be having no one to get depends for you. Seriously, I get depends or my folks every few weeks, and I know for a fact that it improves their quality of life to the nth degree

I usually buy plain polo shirts. Or Nike, adidas golf shirts

I haven't gone to loafers yet. But I have been eyeing some comfy boat shoes. (No crocs for me lol)

I recently sold my Corvette. I used to modify all my cars with loud exhaust, lower them, etc. I did have a Lexus GS also, smooth comfy ride. A LS460 is in my future

Today's music is garbage...Turn that crap down! hahaa LOL (I used to have a loud stereo system that you could hear booming blocks away)

I also have shorts that are cut right above the knee

Yes, I feel the same way every time I'm crawling around on my garage floor under the car.

I do spend a lot of time on my yard. I love a nice green manicured lawn

I think you're on your own on the last one...HAHA

Does owning a lot of Sanuks make you old? Then add it to the list for me. But they're never not comfortable! ;)

Dude, I was thinking about starting a thread like this.

    You know you're old when:
You start using a pill organizer to keep up on your meds.
You feel a small victory pouring out 7 pills when you're loading your pill organizer for the week.
You watch Turner Classic Movies more than anything else.
You go to the doctors office more than you go to bars.

I got more, just forgot them...

I discovered Tommy Bahama shirts a couple of years ago. They’re the most comfortable damned shirts I’ve ever worn. At this point my entire wardrobe consists of those and detailing supply t shirts. (Besides polos from work.)

My jeans and khaki shorts all have flex band waists to account for weight fluctuations. Make sure you get the shorts with “tech pockets”. Those are really useful.

All jokes aside, try to do some stretching or even some yoga a few times a week. I've found that I always feel better after going to the gym. My goal is to still be "fit" when I get older.

@Darkness did you ever like hip hop, though? Admittedly, a lot of it is garbage but there are a few gems.

Even the simple conversation that starts by saying "In 1970 or 80 something... We used to do burnouts in the school parking lot after the pep rally... " Let's you know you're getting old. Now I think back to those times and need a calculator to figure out how long ago it was, and it ultimately reminds me of the inevitabililty of getting old. But I have to say, I'm nearing the half century mark, and I try to be active every day to stay fit. Most importantly, I still remember my wife and kids names. I've finally started to lose my eyesight, which I have been fortunate to keep this long. And as the years add up, so did the weight, so diet has to change in order to keep healthy. I've converted to OMAD and Warrior intermittent fasting dieting and WOW did that make a difference!!! I'm back to what I weighed in college and holy shit do I feel great! 50 is the new 30, if you disipline yourself and take care of what you put in the machine!!!
Don't be LAZY, keep your mind and body moving to stay young. My kids say I'm the only Dad that does the things I do so that makes me feel like I'm still outside the retirement home, and not one foot in the grave. The body achieves what the mind believes! And you're Never too old to drive a lifted with big wheels and tires, supercharged, beast with a super loud and obnoxious stereo and carseats. Maybe that's just me, but I don't think so...
