Hey what's up everyone?! Like many others, I've been a lurker for a while and waited until I actually got a tundra before introducing myself. Long story short I've been long overdue for a vehicle upgrade and my uncle had a 1st gen tundra which I loved driving especially on fishing trips. I've been tracking the TRD pros for a few months and due to a misunderstanding, I found out I was 8th (not 1st) on a list for one to come to a local dealership but it was in super white (nothing against those who love the color, I just wanted cement). Disappointed, I called another a dealership to make a deposit for a build and happened to find one (in cement) sitting on their lot. After a 4 hour drive, I get there and after another 2-3 hours I'm the proud new owner of 2017 Cement TRD Pro. Oh and the reason the truck happened to be there, was a guy ordered it and ended up getting a different vehicle. Anyways, glad to join the group and learn a lot! And since threads are worthless without pics....

Wow thanks everyone for the awesome welcomes!! Really appreciate it!! Yea I'm really glad I was able to get the cement color. I love the unique look of it and after spending so many hours on this forum it gets overwhelming with the amount of options and customizations you can do to this truck. But I guess that's definitely a headache well worth getting? I figured I'd start with some basics such as xpel full nose protection (got an appointment tomorrow), then debating between go rhino rb10 running boards vs. amp powersteps (leaning more towards this), and a tonneau cover (most likely Bakflip MX4 but not really settled yet). I also want to retrofit the headlights so I can add HIDs but I'm kind of waiting to find out reviews on the 2018 tundra lights and debate which path to go with if 2018 lights do well and become an option to purchase. I've done a bunch of reading on the forums about the pros/cons of these items but if anyone has more input I'd love to hear it. On a side note, I went to costco and happened to see this other TRD pro with a simple and clean setup. It's sitting on some bfg's 295/35r18s Not sure if this is a user here?

    Grtz and I'm Jelly!

Currently I'm poised to receive a super white T4R ... not replacing the Tundra, but our Rav4... however cement is what I truly want.
Stock is limited in Canada, so I may need to settle (still will love) the white... I also work at a damn dealership and can't swindle my way (yet) LoL.

Hope to upgrade the Tundra to a Pro, and try again for Cement.
Grats on yours mate and hope she brings you much happiness!

Nice! That's gonna be a great upgrade from the Rav4. Yea I've heard its hard to get the trd pro's in canada but if you are able, you guys up there get more options than us down in the states. I felt the same way about the white, I wasn't against it but I really wanted the cement and I'm glad it worked out. I hope you'll be able to get the trd pro though. Thanks for the support!

    Welcome! Beautiful color...

One reason I went with the gorhino rb10's is because they also act as a door ding protector! AMP power steps are nice but don't have any protection against door dings.

Did you also get a chance to look at NFAB steps? Those are pretty nice too..

Anyway, welcome and say good bye to your bank account since you are in here!
