So far my rims aren’t as dirty with brake dust and the metal caliper covers look good. No conplaints

Got it tuned with VF Tuner. Wow, way less shifty and noticeable more power. Super easy to work with. Still need to find a shop to re-gear....

I’d say so. Damn. Thanks for the response. Guess I better take a look now that I’m creeping up on 50k.

Hell I got right 57k miles on my truck, original brakes and they still got life left in them. I've even towed a good bit with my truck. Some people are just hard on equipment.

Ride is a little bumpier, but the handling and cornering is so much nicer that it's worth it. Hoping when I get the new shocks you suggested, it'll help a little with the bumps.

    Paul, sweet ride sir!

How do you like the Yakima setup? No drilling into your roof, right (there’s a whole thread going on about that!!)? Been thinking about getting the Yakima roof bars and placing a basket on them, versus a basket setup that you have to drill into the roof. Your thoughts are appreciated!!!

Be careful with the Yakima equipment and load ratings. If you add a basket that reduces your load capacity as they factor everything in as a system. So if the bars are rated for 200lbs you have to subtract the weight of the bars, basket, etc., from that so you might only be left with 20-30 lbs left that you can place on it. I bought an Overhaul HD for a RetraxPro but ended up returning it after some back and forth with Yakima on what my final load capacity would be.

I replaced the fronts at 60k, and I do a lot of city driving. To wear them out at 22k must have been driving with one foot on the brake all the time.

Maybe he meant 18K OO + 22K himself, for a total of 40K?

    22K is definitely TOO LOW!

I use my roof racks mostly for camping stuff and runs from Home Depot. Never put a rack on mines. They mount using the side rubber mounts that fit the Tundra. I have no complaints from either Thule or Yakima

Sound deadened the front doors and wired up the KC roo lights today!

These pictures were taken in pro mode with locked exposure:

    No lights:

Low beams, hi beams, and fogs:

ROO LIGHTS ACTIVATE, with all other lights on:

It's still pretty noisy in the cab, but the speakers sound a LOT better already. I believe most of the sound comes from the floor. Can't wait to get that done this weekend.

Check the roof, that's where most of my noise was coming from. Mad a huge difference when I did mine.

I'll need another box of material for that... Another $150 down the drain :spending:

How was removing / reinstalling the headliner to do that?

Wasn't bad for me, just plan on spending the better part of the day on it. And I have the crew max, so I was able to slide the headliner out the back window

Get some insulation also, since you are there.
