Here's the final break down.
Low beam with no fogs.

Lowbeam with fogs.

High beam with no light bar. High beam with light bar.


Edit: I changed the light exposure on the camera ALL the way down so you could see the beam pattern.

 

If you can, rotate the passenger side, so it’s level, notice how it is at the same height as the driver, but isn’t level, usually there is a lock ring under the dust cap/cover, the passenger side should have lots of room behind it to mess with it. Other than that it looks great

caution, it will be hot!

 

Yeah they do get hot! I'd wager that any water that gets on the lens will boil off!

According to my trust measuribg wheel, and this tree highlighted green the cut off is about 110 feet from the front of thr truck.

 

Used 1st Gen Tundra and Sequoia inventory is wiped out around here. Never seen the Sequoia Page so empty. Usually they are giving them away and its been this way for months.

Does anyone baby their trucks? I baby it maintenance wise. But with my last 02 tundra I had 2 years ago, I would drive it like a grandpa barely going over 2100 rpms. Now with my 01 that I bought with my own cash, I kinda dont care. I let it warm up and then I drive it however I want. I think its cause I realized that these engines won't wear out from me driving it hard occasionally since I never tow with it

 

But your transmission is the weaker link of the two. I don't baby it but I don't drive it like a dickhead either, id say 75% throttle is rare for me.

What do I need to replace to get my column shifter to feel tight again. Feels really loose

The 00-02 tranny is not very good but will hold up for a long time if you’re not to abusive.

 

Will I need special pulley/harmonic balancer pulling tools for removal of the parts when doing the Timing Belt Replacement?

If so, what recco’s?

 

Should I just take the lower and upper steering column covers off and check? Or just the boot

Edit: Tried tightening the loose feeling piece but it’s completely tight. It feels the loosest in drive. Let me get a video

Edit2: I see the bushing now but it looks fine.

 

Damn. I think I drove my truck twice in AUGUST. Maybe 20 miles total.

 

I'm heading up to Silver Lake State Park in Michigan soon. It looks great. It's right on Lake Michigan. I've never driven in deep sand before. 20PSI a good number?

I'm being told they sell them there but you have to find a way to attach it to your front bumper. I'm hoping duct tape or bungee cord will work.

When I do air down, I like 18-20. You can drop lower if your having issues

Messing with the OBD Reader I notice that the A/C Activation/De-Activation results in a (+/-) 4% Engine Load. Very consistent at all speeds (+/-) 4%.

Circling back to an unanswered question from yesterday. Any need for a pulley puller on the Timing Belt Job?
