First time detailing it since I bought it. Gonna have to figure out a better way to wash the roof.

How are you doing it now? Standing in the bed gets you half way.

Stood on the sill to get the rest. May just need to get an extended mitt.

I use the bed to get the back half and a 3 step stool to get the rest. Or you can toss the wash mitt on top, open the driver/passenger door and do it that way

Some P100D goodness for you all. Ludicrous mode was indeed ludicrous (0-60, 2.9sec). One stage polish (3D One) on the G9 with yellow LC CCS pads followed by Meg's M27. My CCS line has about had it. Time to upgrade. Didn't have time to knock the brake dust off the rotors since a surprise shower rolled in.

Thanks man. It could have used a cut and polish (multistage), but it was the guy's daily driver so we settled on a one stage. Came out great.

Indeed it did....you can not deny the cut and finish of 3D One. I've turned around some swirl-filled cars with One and some Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber pads. That is some superb work you've done right there

Dude, yours is better than most. At least you have proper sentence structure, spelling, etc. I can actually understand what yours says vs trying to bust out the rosetta stone to decipher the gibberish on so many others.

Thanks, I oddly enjoy them. I do photography as a hobby when I can so I have some decent lenses to play around with on them. Need to figure out how to stop the flashing that occurs from the videos refocusing automatically while recording. Epileptics be warned.

I cannot, actually. I am just a regular civilian who supports and respect LEOs, first responders, and Military. I appreciate the service provided.

I used to read a lot, and English was a strong subject in school for me, so the butchering of the language pains me.

Wild times for us. I'm looking for an early retirement....hence why I'm doing so many detail jobs for the business. Got my fallback plan in action already lol.

Yeah, cannot blame anyone who want to get out of that line of work in the current climate. Some are just relocating to more.... friendly places too. Stay safe out there, and keep up the beautiful detail work.

Random thought: have you considered detailing a vehicle for your department? I think that would make for a badass video. I'd love to see it, anyway.

I would, but I live out of the county I work for. Can't take marked cruisers out of county and doubt anyone would want to pay for a paint correction for a crap county vehicle lol. Closest I've come is I do work for a nearby volunteer fire department. I should have some of their brush trucks coming up. I'll make a video for those. They give me access to the whole company (4 bays, each bay can fit 2 engine trucks backed up to one another so it's massive). It would make for a cool video in there with all their apparatus and trucks going in and out running calls.

Heavy cut just shy of a microfiber heavy cut, but since it is foam it finishes extremely well.

Orange is everyone's go to with LC and one stages apparently, but I've found I can get the same finish and better cut with the yellows if I back off pressure and speed on the last two passes per section. I test spot every car with both pads for one stages and notice the same clarity but better cut using the yellow and that method.

Back on the road this AM, but hit the truck again last night. Used Meg's Spray Hybrid as I was running out of daylight.
