2021 Tundras are on Toyota's Site

Where was it ever supposed to be 2020 or 2021? Oh, the rumor mill. Toyota never officially said it would be either of those, and if it's not from Toyota and you get your hopes up, then that isn't their fault.

 

Toyota never says anything official until they actually reveal. But Mike Sweers sure been giving a lot of hints over the past 2 years......time to deliver.

I have an order on a Crewmax army green limited without BSM

 

I was hoping the 21 would come out with LED taillights as part of one of the special edition packages (nightshade or trail) as a send off of the generation. Just so I could upgrade mine with an OEM option. Ohwell, time to look closer at aftermarket.

 

I was hoping for the 8 speed transmission

 

I would have loved this. I might eventually just go LED bulbs in them, because I actually like the look of the stockers.

 

I'm right there with ya. Currently deciding between an army green sport or the trd high end package with options.

I wonder if the army green options will be harder to negotiate for this year as it seems a lot of people are eying that color as an option

I could see it being harder to negotiate it on something like the Trail Edition that will be a limited supply, but your standard trims in it won't be any harder to come by than any other color. If they try to gouge for the color you just walk.

I wouldn’t mind black either. It was my original choice, but I took a vote with family and army green won. All I really want is 4wd, leather, moonroof, and no BSM.

I also have a feeling there’s going to be a billion army green Tundras now.

 

That's what they did to me with the 2020 voodoo blue. Amazing color but too much. Which new 2021 colors are limited again? Army and cement grey right?

 

The only color that is limited is the Lunar Grey on TRD Pros. The Trail Edition and Nightshade Edition trucks are going to be produced in limited numbers of 5000 of each edition, so I was just saying that they could try and gouge an Army Green in that trim, but not on an Army Green SR5, or Limited, etc.

 

If they didn’t try to be “unique” and “fun” with the Trail I would have gone with that. Tan stitching is going to be a no from me.

 

Just noticed the platinum available in wind chill pearl as well, that wasn't an option on color choice the day the build and price went live .. oh, decisions decisions

Why is the MPG 13/18 for 2020 and 13/17 for 2021?

 

If they are putting heavier accessories in the majority of the trims/trucks, then the EPA could have adjusted that. Always remember, the MPG on the sticker is just a number on a piece of paper. It doesn't mean anything.
