I agree. I changed mine at 5k. I felt like it took forever to change it with the set up and may have to consider taking it to the service center if I don't become more efficient. Only time will tell.

Every day? It's less for water and more for keeping the air clean. There's only 7k miles on my truck and I already had to clean out the airbox. Working on a farm and driving on Montana roads fill it up quick. As far as water crossings go, I'd prefer to avoid them, but it's nice to have in case of emergency. I'm not exactly a doomsday prepper but I like to know I'm getting my truck ready for the apocalypse. :alien:

I can't wait to do mine. When my BAM budget system comes I'm gonna take off the whole rear section, scrub it down good and give it a proper paint job. I don't know why more people don't paint it. Looks so cheezy having a beautiful tip and a rusted out pipe lol

    A bunch
Took me a while to realize they were going that long (or 1 year whichever comes first) but now I've been watching the oil closer to see if it needed done early - and after 15k km the oil still looked new, like I could barely see it on the dipstick the same way it is right after I do an oil change on the wife's car. Was a pleasant surprise that after 64k km's on the truck, 15k kms and 11 months between oil changes and it still looked like I could put it into the wife's car. Still feels so wrong to go more than 8k kms but hey this is Toyota's recommendation and if I went by oil colour it would be good for another 16k kms.

I only bought my truck a little over a month ago (7/19/20) and have been running the snot out of it...(4300miles) so its no surprise the oil was black.
Im sure as the engine continues to break in, the oil will last a little longer.

I was an early adopter to the Black Wheel movement with my 2011 Tacoma. Over it because everyone in So Cal is running that now so sold it, got a Tundra and changed wheel color. Was going to get the insides powdercoated a OG color but cost was out of my current budget.

Those Tyger's look good. Damn side steps! My set are definitely functional, but can't help but think there is another set out there that will get the job done, but look better too. I have been running the Iron Cross Patriot steps. They were very easy to install and after two years still look like new. Finish is still like the day I bought them. I use them every time I get into the truck that has a 2.5/1.0 leveling. IMG_3015.jpg
