That black is probably your caliper piston rubber rings deteriorating in the brake fluid. Per your LSPV, I bet if you bled that again some more cack would come out.

I bet your braking feels better now with the new fluid.

Man I’m so many pages behind I may have to create a new profile so I have a good reason for being newbie.

I sold the Tekton speakers
    But I made a few hundred :D
    Now the hunt begins
I have a pair of speakers on my radar, negotiations have begun :benchpress:

After an extensive investigation I've determined I do not have it, and do not have the wiring. Hmmm

Good try on this. Now is a great time to AeroSpace 303 that rez tank. Take that rubber ring out and clean it and refresh the memory so she doesn’t leak like mine had started to do when topped off.

Well if you find it, let me know.

Coming from the passengers side head, going down I have the foglight wiring, the pump hose, and the pump wiring. Nothing else.

Out of curiosity, I pulled the radio.

I have a multi-pin plug that goes in the bug circle, and the antenna that goes in the smaller circle.

So whats supposed to go in the hole below the antenna hole?

What goes in the other multi-pin socket? Amp?
    20200829_104450.jpg
Looks sorta like a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Could I add an aux cord?

Are there actually electronics in that outlet? Seems it could be a receptacle for a protruding mount in the back of the dash.

Just watched a video of a fella tearing down a similar radio, and soldering in a 3.5mm jack.

No thanks. I'm good. I'd rather just get a new head unit. Sheesh.

Well, what are some good ones to keep my eyes out for? I've always kinda brushed over the head unit threads.

    Main things I want:
    1. Bluetooth.
    2. Fit in hole
    3. Look nice.

Stick to the major brands. Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine. Buy a camera, wire harness And install kit for your truck so you won’t have to cut anything

Double din? Want an Android touch screen?

I’m putting in a cheap $169 Android radio fom the Amazons, an ATOTO A6 Standard.

I was going to put in a single DIN Bluetooth radio with backup cam capability for $49, but decided to spring for the larger screen and the full touch screen.

I had this basic bluetooth / 3.5mm input interface in my old 2001 AC 4x4. Works really well with the original HU, clean, and plug and play into that empty CD changer connector in your stock HU :

The newer touchscreen radios have android auto and Apple car play. Search the used market with patience, you can find some good stuff for cheap.

That second antenna slot is for a second antenna in other vehicles. Some have 2 antennas for better reception.

That other plug is for the old school CD changers. But if you want aux, look up GROM audio. Or buy an aftermarket radio

Can't recommend Crutchfield enough. Free wire harness kits with every purchase. Prices ranged for almost every budget. Lots of choices.
