2017 Tundra DC - I want to load 1 quad into the truck bed so I can pull a side by side (UTV) on an aluminum trailer - Does anyone have experience with using ramps to the open truck tailgate ?

No problem putting a ATV in the back, see it all the time.

But can the tailgate handle the weight ? I know on my older F250 it was not an issue

Yes, I see it all the time. It is really not that much weight as 1/2 the weight is on the front tires in the front section of the truck bed. So an average 600-700 lb 4wheeler would only have 1/2 that on the tailgate. And a couple guys sitting on the tailgate weight more than that. Not an issue.
