Under the dash panel. I have this annoying rattle that sounds like it’s HVAC related but can’t pinpoint it. I took the panel off and found this hose just hanging out. Anybody know?

Do you have auto temp controls? Looks like you might from zooming in on the picture. Maybe the sensor for that.

I do. Is it supposed to be connected to something? I can’t find a home for it

It's your ambient air temp sensor. Not sure it's supposed to be just hanging out. Usually there's a spot on the lower dash with two or three slits on it that it sits behing.

OP, I have to ask, where did you get the dash overlay.... Hoping there's other options to choose from...

It’s carbon fiber hydro dipped. Cost about $400. Looks legit like carbon fiber. Totally made the interior feel like a 2020. I have the sequoia lights and people can’t believe it’s an 08

Funny how a pair of sharp-looking lights make people think it's a much newer vehicle - every person I talk to (who can't tell the difference in Tundra model years) thinks mine is a much newer vehicle as well.

x2 on the ambient air sensor behind the panel just forward of where your right knee sits. Probably won't impact the auto temperature control if it's hanging down, but reconnecting it means it's not banging around under the trim.
