It was a really tasty NEIPA! And I like the name a lot. It may or may not sit on the shelf a while for that reason :anonymous:

Ive been wanting to try this one and finally cracked it open. This is a collab with a local coffee shop down the road from me. Brutal used their espresso blend in this brew and it is tasty! Lots of coffee comes through and it is one solid stout! Brutal pushes out amazing sours, great to see they can kill stouts too.

They dropped a cake flavored sour today (I think) that sounds good!

“High Summit” (the first pic above) might be the best beer I’ve ever had if you’re into the hazy juicy NE thing.

that includes monkish, trillium, foreign objects, sloop, other half, equilibrium, Lawson’s, etc to give some perspective. It was less than a week old (after canning) so that probably helped. Highly recommend if you’re in New Yorkistan.

Arnold Palmer Alert | Sweet tea and lemonade ale

I was soooooo excited for this one because I love tea. I was really hoping for a lot of tea and a little lemon to balance things out and make it taste like an Arnold Palmer. Unfortunately I didn’t get much of either. Almost zero lemon and the tea was so faint I couldn’t even really taste it :(
It really just tasted like plain beer more than anything. I mean, it was a great beer taste just not wha they described, nor what I was expecting.

The Imperial Texan | Double hopped red IPA
    9% ABV

This was the very first local craft beer I tried after moving to TX, and it’s what really got me hooked. It’s a very hoppy, slightly bitter, imperial style IPA. The floral hop notes hit hard and it has great body with kind of a sweet honey-like aftertaste. One of my favorites hands down and an every-year seasonal brew for MH.

I grabbed this on slushy (I’m getting a crowler to go for later to try it non slush) so my review is based on a slushy which will diff from a pour.

Strong raspberry with a small hint of cream cheese in but the raspberry it overpowering in the slushy form.

This brew has curaçao, orange peel, and coriander and you can taste hints of each. Not one flavor jumps out over another, it’s very well balanced and has a very mild flavor. Real light and crisp and easy to top back the whole tallboy.
    Thanks @T-Rex266

This is a really light drinker, and a great beer for hot weather. Crisp, easy, and a little fruity in the backend.

My local brewery released two new beers last night, I only grabbed this one. Its pretty tasty without being shitfaced bitter. Kind of a classic take on IPA rather than a how bitter can we make it and people still buy it?

Really cool can, name only makes sense if you know this place usually only makes German style beer. This is unusual for them. Good flavor, 7%, only comes in 16 ounce cans.

Hereby beers for today and maybe tomorrow. They're made for doing yard work! The lawn mower print and the colors of the can would make a cool shirt.

Very crisp with just the slightest hint of lemony citrus.

Just had this last night. I'm not the biggest fan of sours but wanted to try this, I had no issues finishing the beer hahaha I wasn't a huge fan of the smell, it wasn't bad but wasn't as appealing as some of their others. Tastes exactly as expected and was enjoyable!

@Squatting Pigeon when do they have Miss Marmalade? Was hoping to find the Super Fast Jellyfish at Kroger but no luck, so when for the Orange Cream. You guys are definitely getting me to try beers outside my norm so thank you!

I can’t find a damn thing about what this beer has it anywhere. Ouray Brewing don’t have it listed on their site and untapped just has very basic reviews, so idk.
It tastes great though! I’m getting some spice notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and some barely flavors too. It’s really light and a great saison style brew. I’ve only recently come to appreciate his style of beer and I really enjoy them. 8/10! (but pricey as hell)
