I purchased my '13 tundra back in July and the AC has always seemed a bit weak. Order a wix cabin filter via Amazon and changed it out today. Maybe this will help with the cooling some ;)

So, if you haven't changed your cabin filter, might be something to consider. Looks like mine hasn't been touched in years...

That one actually looks fairly clean compared to some of the horror looking ones posted here....

Here in Az & seeing as I'm perma hot, my AC is running if I'm in the vehicle, I check my K&N monthly & that looks like it usually looks. (except red)

    lol

I changed mine out a couple of weeks ago. (This was the first time that I have done that since I've owned the truck, which has been less than 1 year). Needless to say, I'll be checking it a lot more often. LOL And yes, it was quite the improvement to the HVAC airflow in the cabin.

We need a special thread to post worst looking cabin air filters. Maybe a contest. The winner gets a new reusable K&N cabin filter paid for by @Bob........ :anonymous:

The picture I posted was the nasty filter I removed from my mom's Tacoma... rodents were setting up house, and my mom was complaining about air flow and an odor.

The one I removed from my 2007 appeared to have been the original filter and it looked like Thumper's, but it had whole acorns, feathers, hay, layers of clay & gravel dust. The filter was almost impossible to remove, and I had to also drop the fan to clean out what fell into it as I pulled the filter free. There was no evidence of rodents living on my filter.
