Just curious, how much under MSRP do you think can be had for a TRD Pro CM? I know what I can get on a Limited, but due to the higher demand is there a deal to be had?

Most likely will pay MSRP. Most everyone has paid full price.

2016 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro CM MGM.

I have seen several advertised in DFW area at $2k to $2.5k off MSRP. Do they really have the truck they advertised? I have not yet tested them. I will around the end of the year. My dealer said last week they would work with me on price if I wanted to order one. Texas has a lot of dealers so I am sure I can find one that is hungry.

Probably depends on what market you are in. I don't see the Pro's going for less than MSRP here in Oregon.

MSRP for me in OK. I called a few dealers that had some discounts on the website, they all said it was a mistake because Toyota doesn't offer any rebates on PRO.

I have talked to about 20 dealers and only got 4 to go below msrp. The most I can get off msrp in my area is $1500. I sent that quote to some other dealers and they told me they couldn't match it. So if you can get over $1500 off you are getting a great deal.

I got $500 off MSRP. Like anything in life just got to ask and worst is they tell you "no". I ask for $1000 off MSRP and they came back No - $500. ok. Was planning to buy at MSRP but $500 less is alright too. All one over the phone and email. No sitting in the dealer table for 5+ hrs.

Its awesome. Talk for 1 minute then hang up the phone and let them call you back after they decide while you sit watch TV with a beer. Had my financing all lined up and ready to go. Once they ok the truck there accounting call me when they are ready to do paperwork. I tell them send over a copy and let me review it. Everything looks good they send over final copy with docusign and its a done deal. I allow them an opportunity to beat the interest rate but unless is special 0% (none for Pro) from Toyota Financial then I'm done. Headache free and not looking at the stupid salesmen BSing

Bought it last day of the month. They were having some kind of late night sale going till midnight.
Originally they had it listed wrong on their website showing their internet price was 44,000 because they had it listed as a trd off-road. I called an talked to them and they said it was wrong, but they would work with me. I drove three hours to get there and as I'm pulling in their parking lot, I see someone else taking it out for a test drive. They took my truck while the other people were test driving it and appraised it. As soon as the truck came back, I drove it quick, they told me they would give me for my Tacoma and I said what's your best price on the Pro, they came down to 45,750 and they gave me 10,500 for my 2005 Tacoma with 175,000 miles on it. So I drove it home that night.
It was a long day, we started out in Kansas City at my in-laws house expecting to buy a different truck that day when we got home from a dealer I had been working with. I called them on the way home and they said they were not able to get the truck I wanted (the other dealership sold it while they were on their way to pick it up supposedly) It was the third time this happened so I was tired of dealing with it. Called this other dealership and after driving 4 hours home, vacuumed out my truck to get all the dog hair out of it and drove 3 hours there spend 4 hours at the dealership and then drove 3 hours home.

I got mine for invoice. I got to the dealer 30 minutes before they closed on the last day of the month. I didn't really have to grind them, I just said "I'm here and the truck I want is here and we all want to go home sooner then later. So let's just do the deal and get on with our lives" I think I was in and out in an hour. They also got me 1.7% for 60 months with Citizens Bank.

That's sweet! My father-in-law is my sales guy but the issue is their dealership has nothing I want. They would need to try and get it from another dealer. There would go my deal...

I got my dealer to agree to ~800 under the sticker. Afterwards they realized that they had added running boards that were not reflected in the sticker price, and tried to tell me that was another 1k. I told them that for 1k unless those running boards came standard with a blow-job attachment they could go ahead and "un-add" them and I would pay the originally agreed upon price. Long story short, I did not get the much coveted blow-job attachment, but they did honor the original price, and did not bother to take off the boards. I dont see the particular boards I have listed in the options, but assuming the same $500 price tag as the ones they do list, that put me ~1300 under sticker in the end.

FWIW, the CM's do seem pretty scarce around here, especially when you start getting picky about color...

If you aren't registering the truck in Oregon California is gonna bleed you for that tax. If you live in Cali they will ask for proof of sales tax paid upon registration or you will have to pay it then.

Yeah so no way I am even finding one here, and no deals to be had. Back to the Limited option. Leveled, with new shoes and I think I will be very happy. Especially for the thousands I will save, lol.

Dealer in OKC has one advertised at $500 under MSRP and says in the ad he will probably get fired for selling it that low. I hate the crap these guys pull. I bet you could walk in there and knock another couple of grand off it. Seriously, he is going to get fired for selling a truck for several thousand over invoice? He claims they have to move it to make room for new inventory. BS again. How much space is one truck going to free up?

They could ship them down to Houston and through the Panama canal but I doubt it. We use to ship tile across the gulf from Brownsville to Tampa.

I thought about that but then up the entire west coast to Seattle and then on a truck or train across the state? Just seems a little costly but I suppose you never know.
