Official BS and shenanigans & Good Morning America Thread

That's strange, that it is in English.

 

Something tells me it's not very accurate for Japanese translations. The poor girls at immigration were looking at me like, WTF is he saying. I would type have Google translate and point like a monkey. Then the look they had was "bless his heart, he must be special".
Come to find out they might not feel comfortable or speak english very well. They can sure write english very very well. That's how we ended up communicating. Writing back and forth.

 

Did they write any #'s ?

 

It is! Dont know the back story of the place. They are all over Japan. From what I've seen so far the mall and the stores that are in it are in English. I just need to find that person that I can question to answer all of my questions.

Don't take this in a pedophile way, but the young school girls were most helpful in translating. They liked to show off their English. The boys not so much. I was fortunate that we had a translator. He could sing My Way in karaoke better than Sinatra.

 

Have you been to a Japanese pro game? For sure a different experience. Yamayori Giants are my team. Even have the ball cap.

 

No, I haven't. I have watched a few games while having a beer at TGI Fridays while here. Most of the teams that I have seen even have couple American players.

 

Evening everyone, spent the day in my ass, now enjoying a nice beer buzz. Too bad I have to go back to work tomorrow

 

If I remember right, they have a limit on foreign players. But there's a lot of talent at the pro level.
If you get a chance, check out a live game. The cheering sections are in the outfield seats. The offense team's fans cheer politely. No one yells you suck. If a guy hits a homerun, a pretty girl meets him at home plate with a bouquet of flowers. Entertaining.

 

Unfortunately for me that wont happen this trip. While here in Tokyo I am pretty much quarantined here to the hotel. I can only leave to go eat and return to my room.
Now if I wasnt on lock down I would:
Go to a ball game
Find some micro breweries
Do some fishing in front of my hotel
