They lost me at 90k. Out the door and with dealer markups its a 100k truck with 2.5" bypass shocks and no winch.

$78k USD loaded up the way I like it, which is only about $92k CAD.

Max price north of $105k CAD. :eek2:

I havent driven a car since 2003 and really like the room a truck provides.
But not at that price, for a daily driver, I just cant justify it nor can I afford it.

Heck my 2016 tundra is used and only paid 24K. Would still be driving my
2011 Tundra, but they offered me to much to not trade it in.

Next time I'm in my Tundra, I'll give it some loud pedal, and pretend I'm in a TRX.

I haven't researched but does anyone know what the reliability has been on these Hellcat vehicles?

they should offer the TRX drivetrain in a base model RCSB

I like the looks of it and the concept, after 3 dodges and 7 or 8 transmissions, I will pass. BUT they first launch editions at 90 thousand plus are already sold out. The demand is there if Toyota would do anything.

I don't think RAM has been having any problems with the ZF 8-speed that they've put in their trucks for the last few years. This is a transmission that's used across a wide range of manufacturers, and it seems to hold up just fine.

Hah, you're being dramatic. Yes, we rightfully put our Tundras up on the pedestal of reliability, but we have our problems too. Lots of people in cold climates (myself included) complain of creaky dashes, and it seems the driverside bolsters on driver seats love to collapse. And don't make me bring up the secondary air injection system failures.

Yes RAM trucks can have problems, but I still see a fair number of older higher mileage units on the road. RAM builds some pretty cool trucks like the RAM Limited, the Rebel, and now the TRX. Why can't we just appreciate them for what they are, instead of throwing sh!t at them?

Sling all the crap you want at Ford, though. 100% deserved. ;)

Meh, I absolutely love my paid off 2014 dinosaur tundra and will never trade but I am considering a heritage edition landcruiser to accompany my tundra or wait and see if the new 300 series landcruiser is a game changer.

Of course I’m being dramatic! Isn’t that the MO of shitting on other truck brands!? And yes, I 100% agree that any ford post 1933 is pretty doo doo.

So...I paid 97k for my house, and it’s now worth $140k with garage and upgrades....they want 90-100k on something that will depreciate the second you drive it away....plus, as someone already stated, they have a radio dial as a shift knob, which utterly annoys me about the Dodge trucks. I realize everything is electronic now, but there’s something about putting a shifter in drive....

    It's a good look. I built the one I would want. $88k.

If I truly wanted a 700hp truck, I'd put a ProCharger and 37s on a Power Wagon. You'd have as much utility, twice the payload, and $20k in your pocket

Looks like Fiat got tired of Ford's cool factor.... But then Ford is allegedly releasing a raptor with the mustang gt500's engine, so this should be an interesting race to the most unreliable "baja" truck :D

At least they put a transmission cooler on theirs to help keep temps under control and extend the life of the transmission. :stirthepot:

On a serious note, for $90K I'd prefer to keep my current Tundra and pick up a low mileage used 'Vette (or something similar) for when I want to go fast.

I have a transmission cooler, mine is a 2018, and it will be staying till I decide to go back to another diesel.

One thing will give them credit on, they do have very nice interiors now. But I could not justify any truck made by doge being one 90 thousand. Hell the last one i considered buying was a 3500 4x4 dually loaded to the gills and I was going to walk away with that for 65000 and it literary could have carried the enitir
