    What should I expect?! My first daughter will be 2.5 when she’s born, so close together. I’ll be teaching them to shoot and camp and routine truck maintenance so they’ll be self-reliant. Plus, my wife isn’t prissy and has already taught #1 how to handle lizards and bugs.

    Congrats! What to expect? You’ll spend more money for diapers and wipes, all the essentials a baby needs. Get rid of debt and live a debt free life because when kids get older it doesn’t get cheaper. Stop borrowing money if you are(debt), pay them off and live below your income.

    Oh, we got rid of debt (other than the house and rental property) before the first was born. My wife wanted to stay home so the only way was to buckle down and pay off the other debt. Our house will be payed off when #1 is 14 so right before driving. We also max out the HSA so braces, etc should be easier. We also have a 529 for #1 and will start for #2 soon.

    I may not be the perfect Dave Ramsey follower, but I take a few pages from his book.

    Good for you @Clifford_4x4, me and my wife saved a lot and only debt left is her 2020 RX and we’re paying that off, no mortgage yet but we’re excited we can buy a really nice house when the time is right. We work too hard to see money go away instead of keeping it, congrats again!

However, my father in law had 4 girls and he is completely bald, so you might have hair loss to look forward to. Although I don't think he started losing his hair until they got to be teenagers...:rofl:

    Congrats! There’s nothing like little girls. Close in age will be great too. I’ve got three little girls myself 8,6, and 4. The gray hairs started with my oldest and now I’m finding them all over. I don’t know about hair loss, but I bet I’m completely gray after the teenager years.
