New to the site. Currently have a 2012 CM Platinum. I was wanting to know if anyone is running the Toytec Eibach 3-1 on a second generation tundra and if so, what’s your opinion on it. I am thinking of ordering one this week and plan on using the shackle lift in the rear. Also I’ve already pushed in the plastic in the front, trimmed the skid plate and did the BMC. SCS ray 10’s on the way with +25 offset. Wanting to run Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x12.50r18’s. Will I have any issues with this setup or should I run the 295/70r18’s to be on the safe side. Any advice would be helpful.

    Alot of them
Toytec setups are good. You just wont have the ability to adjust your height with that particular coilover. It is still a good setup. I have the Aluma series on mine. As far as shackles, set them on the 1.5 setting. It will keep you from having to grind the bed bolt as the shackle rubs it on some trucks. I'm not sure about that tire size with the +25 offset. Someone will chime in. As far as 295/70's, take a look at the Ridge Grapplers in the 285/70. It is almost the same size (within 1/2 inch) and 10 pounds lighter per tire. This is my 2013 with the Alumas and shackles with 1/2 inch shim in the rear. I'm sitting about 3.5 in the front and 2 rear, and 285/70's on a 0 offset.

If you already did the BMC and finder liner you should be good with 35x12.5. Also don’t forget UCA’s.

Any rubbing with the 295’s? I do not want to cut out any of the plastic in the front. I was able to push it forward a good 1” to 1.5”s. I just don’t want to listen to tire scrub anytime I back out of a parking spot. I see a lot of the people running 35’s even with a BMC, they are still cutting sections of plastic out of front wheel well and I don’t want to have to do that to avoid tire scrub.

I do have slight rubbing on the front finder liner but I also did not do any modifications to it. I think with you pushing it forward 1-1.5 inches you should be fine with the 295’s. You can also do the bumper shims that will get you another 1/2 inch or so.
