I've been using bead maker for a hot minute. Noticed nothing of which you described.

Playing devils advocate here so don't get mad. Could it be the wash job prior to use?

This summer was the first time my truck has dried without a micro fiber towel because its silly hot. I used bead maker and its flawless no water spots (with the sun drying the truck it was nothing but a water spot)

 

I'm not sure why they don't just put this in every truck from the factory, but I installed one of the underseat storage bins.

Previously I had a small plastic container full of ratchet straps and a tow strap floating around with a spare jacket, first aid kit, and some work stuff all jammed under the seat. This certainly keeps things more secure and organized.

 

Bilstein and wheels installed.

I hardy ever get mad, this forum is a great place to exchange ideas and experiences. I doubt it has anything to do with the wash job because i made sure it was completely dry using a quality micro-fiber towel, and this is the second time i had to deal with the spots. Last time i completely stripped the Bead Maker off because i figured i applied it wrong only to now have the same outcome. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but i can't figure out what that might be. If you look at the vids Bead Maker says you can apply it over any other wax/sealant. Hope you have better luck with it then i did.

 

What kind of paint did you use for this?

Interesting. I use multiple different products, and for the past year or so have used Beadmaker repeatedly on 3 different vehicles with great results. One vehicle Gray, one red, and one white. I wash only with soft water because AZ water is terribly hard and the car dries super fast. I still have water spotting at times - that Beadmaker seems to resolve...

 

Less than a full week. It took from 8/14 to today. Weird thing is their site still asks me to wait 5-10 days for tracking. They arrived today!

 

Hopefully it will let me take advantage of some "dead space" in the bed behind the cab!

 

Count me in, let's put it to good use. I'll bring the tortillas!

Please report out on that tray. I saw it when I was dreaming about a Diamondback many moons ago and couldn't make up my mind if I liked it. Curious if it feels solid, how well it fits, etc.
