    I love all you guys.....

But anybody that thinks Toyota is going to come anywhere near competing with the TRX or Raptor is crazy. There is no chance in hell Toyota will release a supercharged V8 to get anywhere near the power of the TRX.

I will build my own rocket and attempt to fly to the moon and drink a case of Budweiser on the way the day that happens!!!

That TRX is pretty slick Though!!!

I would much rather have a truck and a fun car. CTS-V wagon or something. For my use I just can’t see the point in having a truck do everything, including trying to be fast.

Yeah I wouldn't pay 97k I would get the base cloth seats version and get a trailer tow package and I am good. Probably be 71k. Still don't have that kind of money though. I am just happy a manufacturer did this with a V8.

Ram definitely put the Raptors on notice in more ways than one.
MT Tundras still hold their own at a fraction of the price

Though you won't hit 700hp, it seems to me that putting a supercharger and long travel suspension on a Tundra would be more fun and less expensive.

Dodge trucks rust faster than anything else. I had one, nice truck otherwise but just rotted so bad it was no longer legal to drive. I would never buy another one while I live where it snows.

That TRX is sweet. Maybe Toyota could offer a factory supercharged TRD Pro version? It'd be a starter at least.

Doesn’t the raptor have 13”/13.9”? You’d have to be a woman to notice that extra .1”

But...links are pretty cool though. And with 700 hp on tap, no axle wrap.

That is 100% a V6. Sounds a lot like some of the more tame aftermarket Raptor exhausts.

To be honest, I’ve driven my buddy’s 2019 a number of times and it actually sounds quite good inside for a V6. I know they are pumping artificial noise inside, but still.

I am looking forward to being able to download whatever interior exhaust note I want in my future electric truck!

Just so I have this correct... this truck is 70k starting, or 90k for the launch edition (for a Chrysler product).

    Um, NOPE.

Neat truck though I’m glad they made it, it’s just not for me. 70-90k buys a lot of toys. A tundra and a jet ski and a couple dirt bikes. A tundra, a wrx rally x car or an scca car and a toy hauler. So many better options than lighting that pile of cash on fire for a ram that will deprecate like, well, a Fit or a Chrysler.

Rest assured... if it drives off the lot with 700hp... someone will make a pulley kit for it and have it at 850hp a week later.

I'm not a Dodge fan at all. Not even a little bit... but I do admire the direction they have been taking. This is how you sell vehicles... and I wish other auto mfg's would follow their lead. The Toyota Tundra SHOULD be available as a 550hp supercharged truck right from the factory.

Just like they are doing at non-essential NFL, NBA & MLB games.

I've always wanted that loud AF Harley sound for special occasions.

You could get a Tundra I belive from 07 to the middle of 2015 with over 500HP and a 100,000 mile warranty from factory till someone decided to make a pully for it.
