I did not think this would be an issue - I have Bilstein 6112s preassembled and Bilsteins 5160s on the way and I need them installed and an alignment. The auto shop in town doesn't "do upgrades". I contacted a few other shops and one said, "My mechanic is out for a few weeks" and the other just said, "We don't do that". All of these places claim to replace shocks and struts. Seems like an easy enough job - I guess all the mechanics in central MA are killing it during CV-19 and don't need $?

Anyone from central MA (Worcester) have a shop that will install Bilstein shocks and do an alignment? I really didn't think this would be an issue.

There's a guy in Woburn that I trust. Is that too far?

I'm going to stop by another place in town tomorrow and inquire but if they won't do it Woburn is only about 45 mins without traffic. I appreciate the referral!

Ok...four places all said not worth it and they don’t do “upgrades”...like the Twilight Zone...the things are still in the box.

Last place I went has 8 service bays and there wasn’t a single vehicle in there??

It's too bad a member close by couldnt just give you a hand installing..Would be less then a days work taking your time. Save a lot of $$. Then you would just need an alignment..I don't get why garages shy away from this so much. If a knucklehead like me can do it.. I'm sure it's liability. If you wanted to travel Steve's Jeep country up here in Epsom NH would do it... Did my buddies. Also , Mainline Overlanding in Bow NH.. sorry can't be more help..it's frustrating..

Thanks, everyone. Finally found someone on another forum who is a mechanic in my area who hooked me up. As I said, I didn't think this would be that big of a deal but I guess it is....
