Just wondering if anyone has input to running Nokian Rotiiva AT plus on their Tundras. I have run Nokians on my cars with excellent handling and tread wear. Great tire for cars, but never had them on a truck. Always ran Cooper tires. Any input or reviews would be helpful.

Nokian is a Finland tire company i believe. Been around awhile but does not advertise like everyone else.

Nokians were always the cheapest tires I could find when I wrote service. I think I had a guy burn a set in 20k miles but I'm sure they were never rotated/aligned.

I hear ya, i have had two sets on the eNTyre which is there low rolling resistance tires on my VW Jetta. They where great tires both in the rain and snow. I put over 50k on both sets all highway with rotation every 5k.

Can't speak to the Nokian Rotiiva AT but the nokian hakkapeliitta r2 is BY FAR the best snow tire (we get almost 400 inches of snow every year) I've ever had on any vehicle i've been putting them on. That includes 2 Tundras, 1 Tacoma, and 1 suburu.

I've had Firestone Winterforce, Big O's winter tires, Hankook I-Pikes, and I will never buy another winter tire again after having the R2. I'm sold, but i have no experience with any other Nokian. Don't know if this helps sell their reputation a little or the quality of the Rotiiva AT, but i figured i could chime in a little

Nokian is a Finnish company that makes one of the world's best winter tires. They are still feeling their way in the all/3 season market but they are a great company. Their newer stuff is apparently pretty good.

I friend of mine put the Rotiiva AT's on his '17 Tundra at the start of winter, he has given them a positive review, but I think he's only put about 2000km on the truck.

We ran them on a company pickup at one place I worked a few years ago, no complaints there either. Keep in mind the Rotiiva's are a winter rated A/T, not a dedicated winter tire like some of Nokian's other offerings. We run Nokian winter's on the car, and they are fantastic.

Agree nokian hakkapeliitta r2 nothing comes close to these tires for winter, they're not only amazing on snow, on ice too! When you come to an red light in a intersection that's pure ice these tires will stop your vehicle, and if you have the
nokian hakkapeliitta r2 Studded tire, you can drive on walls that are full of ice lol.

I've got a buddy up in Breckenridge who runs Hakkapeliitta R2's on his FJ during the winter. Swaps over to GY Kevlar M/T's in the spring. The R2's aren't really made for off road use, but apparently a darn good winter tire.

Decided long ago that when my current winter set is too worn, I'm going with some of these, studded.

You don't need studded with these unless you lie the sound of the studs. Like @SR5TRDTUNDRA stated above, you really only need tell studs if you wanna climb ice walls. Lol

I drive on enough ice that I can rationalize them. :burnrubber:
