Raptor had a long and distinguished run, props to Ford for delivering that truck to market.......... but damn it sure is old news now!

Factory 700hp supercharged off road truck with luxury interior that goes 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds on 35"s!?!? Insane.

I told myself that my next truck would be electric, but when / if my Tundra gets replaced with a dead dino burner, this will be the one unless Toyota comes out with a more performance oriented Platinum Pro combo.

I briefly had a 2018 Ram Luxury Sport that got totaled in the first month of ownership, it was a beautiful rig. Then had my old 2014 Jeep SRT for 7 years without a single issue in its 70k mile life. The new Rams and Jeeps are nothing like the old Dodge days.

FCA has been killing it the last few years between the Hellcats, Gladiator, Rubicons, and now this. Looks insane. As much as i love how conservative Toyota is, cant help but love how off the wall Dodge gets in their performance vehicles.

Right? In a way they have been conservative as well. Their ram trucks, Grand Cherokee, Durango, Wranglers, Challenger, Charger, etc all have relatively long design life cycles to get much of the bugs out, and then they ask "hey, can we stuff our SRT and Hellcat motors in them?" I like the approach.

Wonder if they’ll do a less gaudy street version. The old SRT10 truck was pretty slick.

Also who’s idea was it at Dodge to put the hellcat in everything?

Truly otherwordly. However, they didn't mention a supplemental transmission cooler in the power-train portion of the video.

Seriously though, if reliability wasn't in question, I would stand in line for one. I guess I'll keep my measly 500hp Toyota and hope the transmission doesn't explode.

Are they using the same 575-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that has the cam shaft oiling problem?

really awesome marketing and nice looking truck. man, that factory boosted motor! but i did notice that he constantly talked about the build focusing on performance. did i miss it or not once did he say the build was also focused on reliability or dependability? i did scanned through some spots so maybe missed it.

Which will happen first...front end fall out of it...tranny fall apart or rust?? Dodge was one of the worst all time failed trucks I’ve ever owned!

I'll just be happy if the next Tundra get the 5.0 that makes the same power as the current 5.7. I ain't asking for much, Toyota!

I almost ended up in a Dardge. My buddy had one, and it was reliable for him. I knew of Toyota reliability from my wife's 4R. But I looked hard at rust since we are in salt/brine hell up here. Toyotas rarely had rust on them - I'm talking spots here and there - and that was the first gens. 3-4 year old Dardge's had blown out wheel wells and tailgates. So here I am.
