Who did the rebuild? Direct from Fox? I would definitely call whoever performed the rebuild and let them know ASAP. Depending how long it has been they may fix it for you

Oh man, that is messed up. Totally rebuilt wrong. =\

if that was the only issue there are universal kits from Fox with self tapping screws you could use.. but given the oil leak as well I think you should really try to send them back

So here is what I learned and found out installing this kit for the next guy doing research.

    1. This is most definitely a two person job. The uca bolts are a booger, particularly the passenger side. The coilovers a freaking heavy too.

    2. I built my own shackles +4 and the truck sits flat. I used a caliper to measure the bolt diameter and they measured 9/16... I thought. Definitely metric. So I decided to take the little bit out of them with a 9/16 HSS drill bit. Im not sure what those bushing sleeves are made out of but we ruined 3 high dollar drill bits and a whole can of wd40 getting the job done.

    3. The sway bar is impossible to reconnect without disassembly. Be prepared.

    4. So after inspecting the shocks a little more and based on them leaking a little anyway, I figured what the heck. So I used a little nail and bled off what nitrogen was left in them. I cracked the fittings loosed and rearranged the route and was barely able to make things line up, but it did. I will get the nitrogen refilled Monday and be in touch with Fox customer service to see how they want to work it out.

    5. Total install time with two shade tree mechanics was 10 hrs. That's counts time adjusting hose routing, drilling out bushing spacers, beer runs, ect.

    6. I forgot to measure prior to lift so ill post up pictures of final product after tires and alignment Monday.

    Thanks for yall help!

Had the same issue with those stupid spacers!
My buddy that I did the install with @TG705 and myself were stumped for a while and actually got the bolt stuck for a good :30 minutes.

Ended up using a dremmel to grind down the innards of the spacer and even pushing the bearing out of the eyelet and did the same. Thought it was a one off issue, not likely a common problem :annoyed:

Anywho, glad you got this installed and handled, once they are charged back up you will be loving the drive!
