I’ve narrowed down my all weather mat choices to either the Husky (on sale right now for $129.95) or the Weathertech cut to fit mats from Costco for $29.

Obviously the Costco option is extremely budget friendly, but there are a couple of things I’d be giving up.
    1. No compatibility with the driver’s side locking mechanism
    2. No full backseat coverage
    3. Overall look isn’t custom (although they look damn good for a cut to fit option)
    4. Less coverage/protection overall
OK, I think I just made up my mind. I think the Husky will be worth the additional $100 as my goal is to get the best protection for my truck.

Still curious if anyone else has used the Weathertech cut to fit from Costco in their Tundra.

go with the Husky, is a much better product and fits much better for the Tundras

    Agreed.

I just installed mine, front and rear, and can't believe how much better than OEM they are

It's a $30-50k truck and it probably sees the most wear and abuse. Spend a few bucks and get the Huskys.

so are the Gators basically rebranded husky liners? If not, how do they compare? Good coverage vs the stock mats?

The Husky are cheaper than the knock-offs if you go direct to Husky. Currently on sale for $129.95. Decided it was a no-brainer at that price!

I think the Gator's are re-branded Husky's since the owners manual stated Husky. Not sure if Gator could do that unless they were made by Husky. Fits great and for the savings, buy more mods .

yeah definitely go with the husky's if protection is your concern. worth the extra coin to have everything protected.

So the deal is on the Weatherbeater Series, not the X-Act series. I'm perfectly happy with the Weatherbeater series based on the reviews I read/watched.

Why the hate for weathertech? I have weathertech in my tundra and husky in my camry. I have no issue with both.

How long have you had the Weathertech? I’ve read a ton of threads and reviews that after a year or so, the edges roll up and they start to brown.

The weathertech for the passenger seat is not cut correctly, and moves every time someone gets in.

also, forgot about this. The DC rear weathertech blocks Some of the air flowing through the Underseat vents that feed air to the backseat. Not cool

I also have weathertech in my 08 Honda CRV for almost 10 years without issues. CRV is park outside in Texas heat.

A friend has them in his F150 and the edges looked bad after a year. Maybe the bigger ones have issues.

i ended up getting Husky liners. i had a set of weathertechs in my old lexus and over time the sides curled inward and the mats themselves had a greasy feel to them. from the start, the husky liners already seem nicer. i liked the tread pattern on the huskys more than the gators, but thats just my opinion

I got the X-act. It wasn't cheap, but the fit was really good. the rear liners didn't fit perfectly around the door sill area, but a little time spent with a hair dryer fixed the issue. another thing i liked about the husky liners was the anchor they added to keep the passenger side mat in place. not sure if the other brands offer that as well, but its something worth considering

+1 on the husky liners. Easy to clean, they fit well, and don't move once installed. Install and forget about them.

Only wish they would come up a little higher on the bump the rear seats "rest" on but otherwise they're excellent.

Both Husky options are good but to prevent the Weathertechs' issue of curling and harder slippery surface, I would suggest the X-Act Contours. They are awesome.

Same here. Had weathertech’s first then husky. Huskyliners fit better than the weathertech.

I’m about to order the gators full set from Amazon. At $238 for husky liners is a bit steep that’s why I’m not getting the weathertech ones. Let you guys know how it goes.

    None. Keeping this one stock.
Weather tech has crap customer service. I had a set and the passenger side didn't have any nipples so it just slid. Wife busted her ass getting in one day. Their resolution was for me to use velcro. Nope.

Husky ever since. Fit and finish are perfect. And they aren't snidy ass hats like the lady I talked to at weather tech.

that’s what I don’t like about weathertechs. My wife has a set on her Tucson and we’re constantly fixing them because they do slide around. Might have to use that Velcro idea for a fix.
