Selling a great set of Rigid D series amber flood lights. Took these off my 19 Pro. I had these hooked up to my Spod, so I don’t have the wiring harness for them. Asking $150 for the set. Call or text if interested 770-309-3642.

I'm suprised Toyota put them on at the factory since they are not street legal.

    These aren't the OEM fogs.

That makes sense. I saw a new Tacoma on the lot a while back that had a set that were not street legal.

Only if you get the Rigid brackets for them. SDHQ sells them.

They must have the diffused lenses on them to be street legal.

Personally I wouldn't call the beam diffused IMHO. While being wide, it has a very strong, strict distinct height cutoff. Diffused have a lot of light carry, spill on the horizon.

I think the DOT terminology for being SAE legal is diffused. I ran across this link though if anyone is bored lol.

Correct, I have talked to that gentlemen over on TW numerous times.

As you can see in every output shot, the horizontal cutoff is very "strict" with very little spill....the cutoff is as such as to not blind oncoming drivers.

A diffused, as I have on my a-pillars, has a very significant I creased height on the horizon. Much higher than any "SAE" approved shows.

Then there might be a discrepancy in what the term "diffused" really means. IMO the SAE would be characterized more so wide, as that defines a pattern direction. Diffused, IMO, does not set a limit in any direction.

*well I guess the dictionary describes diffused as wide...so there goes that. If I remember to, I'll take a picture of what a diffused lenses output actually looks like tonight* I guess it remains to be how an individual themselves characterizes and describes.

BD has SAE, and wide cornering options.
Rigid has SAE and diffused options.

edited again, even more grey. Screenshots added.

    Sorry OP for the tangent.
