2019 Silver Sky Platinum, love my truck...especially after getting JRT to rip out that JBL "premium" sound systems and do his magic.

So much Black, Grey and Silver in the interior so I wanted to break it up with a Wooden or Leather shift knob...found one on Amazon that would have worked and was identical to the one I liked in an old Lexus LS400 I had but kept digging because I wanted something more unique...found https://www.etsy.com/shop/MooreKnobs and reached out to Travis on what I wanted and he got to work on it. Its a good height to rest your hand on like a manual shifter back in the day. Highly recommend him for the craftsmanship and customer service, tell him Wolfe sent ya!

Okay... Jim did it, not me...

Wolfeman007, that mod really goes against the grain.

By choosing that style, you’ve really splintered off.

The wood-look is definitely something I can say “I saw”.

Driving along, you can sing to any song holding excellent timber.

He got ‘board’ of the urethane shifter... I get it.

The new shifter is hardly the “run of the mill”.

I made a shift knob from a piece of aluminum bar stock.
A few cuts on the lathe, then drill & tap to 8mmx1.25.
    Finished with Scotchbrite pad.

His work is awesome, just peeped his page and already emailed him and let him know that wolfe sent me... Looking for one that is black and blue to go with my overall interior trim! Thanks!

that is gonna look killer, he can either countersink it to make it similar to the height of stock shifter or put the bolt in the bottom so it sits up high (Mad Max Style!)

I am buying 2, GF has a tacoma (black and monster green interior), so getting a custom one for her too. Countersink will be what I go with, just trying to understand the weighted option, asked Travis about that and waiting to hear back as to the difference. Can't believe I was going to spend double this on the AJT one and it is barely customizable.

I got the weighted myself...i think its really comes into play with a manual shifter and how solid it feels but Travis knows better than I do :)

Yeah that's what he said, it tends to be a preference for manual drivers. I haven't driven a stick since HS... Also side not for anyone else interested if you order $70 worth or more, ya get a sticker  Will post pics on this thread once I get installed.
