Looks like HPTuners works on the older 07-09 ecu’s.
Mat @OVTune what’s the status on all your features (GL/DS in S-mode, etc.) working for 07-09 ecu’s?

Them working on older models, has nothing to do with Mat's custom code (AFAIK). What I don't want to happen is people thinking that just because we can do certain things on newer models with HPTuners, doesn't translate to older Tundras being able to.

Just trying to make sure folks understand that.

Yeah, trying to get an idea about where Mat is at with older ecu’s. Seems like a lot of people try to answer for Mat in this thread.

I’ve been waiting over a year for a finished product so yeah I would rather MAT answer my questions accurately on here. I can make my own assumptions

Did you not realize that it was a beta tune when he announced it, and you bought it? Assumptions and educated guesses are two entirely different things. Besides, if you have been waiting for a year for your finished product you do realize that Mat has stated, on a great number of occasions, to ask him questions on Zendesk right? Maybe it's best that you pose the questions there so you can be more beneficial to us all by asking your questions and then giving the answers to us.

    Thoughts?

See it’s comments like this that are just ridiculous.
I simply stated I have been waiting over a year, it wasn’t a complaint just a fact so in other words yes I do want Mat to chime in on here as he has countless times.
I didn’t ask you anything yet you felt compelled to answer me. Thank you but I don’t need your assumptions, opinions, or educated guesses. And if I have a specific question or issue with my personal tune I’ll each out to Mat through zendesk.
Thanks though for all the unsolicited advice.

And it's children like you, who feel like your somehow entitled to have things NOW, when you want them, regardless of whether or not YOU realized this was a BETA tune when you purchased it.

I can't control Mat, or you, or anyone else. All I was trying to do, was point out to others, who may have not been here as long as you, or I have, about the CUSTOM tuning that Mat offers. So me talking about HPTuners, and their ability to tune up to 2018 has no correlation on Mat's CUSTOM offerings that he has with his tuning. Mat does offer tuning with the 07-09. Does HPTuners offer Gear Lock? Nope, so why does it matter that HPTuners offers tuning for the 07-09?

I felt compelled to call out childish behavior where someone is butthurt because they purchased a tune that wasn't ready (hence the reason why it's called BETA) and now because timelines haven't been met they feel obligated to talk garbage. I also felt like pointing out that while HPTuners (and DAP and others) have tuning for the 07-09. If you feel like your needs will be met by having your tune yesterday, then move on.

It's you and some other millennials that think that just because you spent your money on something (that you should've done your due diligence on when it say BETA (like google what BETA meant)), that somehow someone should crap out what you want and when you want it. This isn't JG Wentworth, and your money (nor your tune) is ready right now.

So sit over in your corner and wait like the rest of us. Am I getting frustrated that the 31st of July has come and gone without my updated tune, sure. But I'm not going to stir the pot or ask stupid questions which might further delay it.

There's some more unsolicited advice. Maybe you should follow it...

Wow.. Mr. @Cuban11182 the man ask a simple question for Mat.. (not you)

You don't have enough drama in your life?

Jumping on the forum to answer for other people and be really pissy and rude about it...

Looks like you are having a bad day and taking it out on everyone huh?

That's (that is) your reply? That's (that is) your (not you're) argument? Ohh, I'm (I am) a keyboard warrior...Such a burn!!

I'm (I am) not trying to belittle, but rather trying to educate you, as it seems like you haven't (have not) had much in the first place (it's there, not their). It's (it is) apparent that you're (you are, not your) unable to argue against my points, so sit in your corner and STFU.

Take your money and go get tuned by someone else if you can't (can not) understand what BETA means...But seeing that you called me a keyboard warrior, and don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, I suggest you spell check your arguments. It's (it is) apparent that schools these days don't teach as well as they should.

I have plenty of nice things to say, to plenty of people.

Maybe 20 years of military service has taught me to call out BS. Maybe these last few years, dealing with children who have joined and have this sense of entitlement has also caused me to call out BS. Maybe it's also taught me patience for the things that I can't control. I echo what many feel with missed timelines and the inability to keep us informed. But asking stupid questions, or causing problems is not going to get me my tune faster. I know that much.

    Who knows?

Yup but with the same retirement, and it required a higher ASVAB. Seeing that you're Navy...I'll keep my mouth closed, lol

Lets see...how many rates are in the navy that are needed to fill my rate? Four maybe? Does that say anything?

Maybe because your ASVAB wasn't high enough to join. Don't worry. I'll sit over here with my retirement, disability, and the knowledge that I had the score to be able to join...

Oh, and that my career was easier than those in the DOD. Work smarter, not harder right? That is, if you have the ASVAB to work smarter...

Acting like children, and your age sometimes have no correlation. Correlation (for you Navy folks) is synonymous (similar) with association.
