I'm swapping out my bulbs for LEDs. Got the passenger side done (damn those bulbs are a pain to remove), but when I plugged in the LED on the driver side...NOTHING. Flipped LED and still nothing. Tried another LED...NOTHING. Flipped...you guessed it - NOTHING. I even put the bulb back in and now it won't work either.

What could I have screwed up while removing the bulb?

Check the fuse. Are the others working? I think there was another thread here with the same issue.

Fuse is first thing to check. Are other bulbs working?

All other interior bulbs are working. Does the driver side map light have its own fuse?

There could be another fuse, not sure, check manual. Can you check for voltage with a meter?

Thanks for the suggestions. I went back and reinstalled it and it worked. Now I'll disconnect the negative terminal before I do the rest because I hate what I've read from others!

    Pulling fuses may be easier.

    Good luck!

DD ss3 max led fogs. interior and exterior leds swapTRD Shift knob.
are the led bulbs polarity dependent? some are. will only light up if plug in the correct side, if it doesnt turn ON. flip 180 and try again. it will work then.

You blew the fuse it’s under the driver side dash easy to replace. It’s like 4 dollars at auto zone for a pack of 5.
