I've live in the desert where 100F wasn't hot, lived in the north where 0F wasn't cold, lived in the south where it was humid, but I had a pool.
Adapted to all of them. When all is said & done, my favorite is dry heat, swimming pool, privacy wall, & shade awning.
Desert plants are just so amazing & tough.
cold places have stuff makes you fall down & crash your car.
Warm places have a/c, covered parking & awnings.

But I'm built svelte. Bring on the heat!

Well that didn't work. Let's try another method.
    20200808_210743.jpg
    Frozen thermocouple? Check.
    20200808_211209.jpg
Alarmed out 10 Ton press? Check.
    Screenshot_20200808-210101_Calculator.jpg
    Temp conversion? Check.
    20200808_211404.jpg
Yeah, -120°F will do that to ya.

Already applied topical ointment found in med room here at work. It took away the swelling, and that was about it. I figured the swelling was due to water molecules in skin freezing, and then "deflating" when warm again.

I’ve had bad freon burns from work, trying to save a charge for on a leaky schrader. Mine pretty much blistered within 10 minutes. So if you haven’t blistered yet, that’s promising!

The last big area burn I had peeled the top layers of skin off in about 15-20 mind. Learned a lesson with that one.

So all y'all talking about temps. Come to west Texas. We have all 4 seasons here. 6 months of summer. 2 months of winter, spring and fall. We hit record highs of 108 this summer, and recorded lows of 10 or so last winter.

So I got off work, and I'm thrashed. Was on my way to the store to pick up essentials for the house. Taking a different route than I'm used to.

I'm trucking along doing 57-ish in a 55. Come up to this intersection after rolling through three other ones with no issues. I'm getting comfortable in the cab.

    https://youtu.be/WkKl1ism2bA

I'm rolling, and the light is red. The light turns green so I give her a little extra gas. Enter into the inter section... All of a sudden my head hits the headliner, and I'm mid-air in the cab. I slipped up through the seat belt some how because the seat was laid back.

When I was suspended in the air, everything slowed down, my immediate thoughts were "Oh fuck me, I'm gonna bust both my upper ball joints, and then its gonna be a really bad day with a really shitty ride to a halt."

Everything sped back up, and time resumed... all was well. After the video ends I readjust my neck because it feels like a jammed finger... roll it around slowly, and it pops. Feels "ok." Jeez man.

I really appreciate that offer! I'll try not to waste time but I've reached out on quite a few to get site plans so I can really understand how the property works.

Unfortunately, I've only received a few responses and half of those were in a "neighborhood" and I demand unrestricted with a creek/stream/river on property!

But I will def keep you in mind for that area. Thank you!

I've got another idea that will be tested rather soon for us 2000-2002 folks.
    20200810_040055.jpg
Did some digging on coo' sprangs website. Stumbled across fog light button backlight bulb while killing time on break.

Backlight link is here for those interested in OEM green. I'm going to order one, and see if I can solder in another LED to remove MORE GREEN.

    They're cheap enough at $4.13.

Anyone else excited about this beside just me?

That Redundant Engine Ground I added yesterday really has perked up my FOB distance. I’m wondering what other things its making more effective?

Engine throttle feels more torquey. Every thing I do performance wise feels more torquey. Nothing makes it faster, but only more torquey. I’ll never beat a Double Cab on the drag strip at this rate.

All in all these Redundant Grounds have cost zero $. Online they run a few hundred $$$ custom depending on the company. DIY welding wire is less DIY, but still costs $$$.

Basically, these ones I’ve made are from some old Copper wire left laying around. I stripped the jackets and braided them with dielectric grease rubbings. Soldiered the ends with some flux and a Propane Torch I found laying on the street curb. Watched a buttcrack plumber youtube and got lucky with a nice bead. :notsure:
