I have a 2014 Tundra and I'm getting a 3 and 1 lift. Looking at buying 305/55/20 Dick Cepek mud country tires and Fuel 20x9 wheels. Not sure about the offset or 20x9 or 20x10. Can I get some help?

Do you know which Fuel wheel you are interested in? A better alternative to a spacer leveling kit is Bilstein 5100. It should give you enough clearance to get the tire you want (provided you get not-so-aggressive offset.

My Tundra is also TRD. Just need to know what the best 3 in lift, wheel and tire set up is with out having to cut any thing out.

The offset of your wheels will be one of the most important factors in answering your questions. For instance, if your wheel is 0 offset wheel, you will probably be chopping the body mount with that tire size. On the other hand, I've seen some people with 35 inch tires with Bilstein's with around 35 mm offset. If you are going with 20x10 wheel (these typically come with negative offset), then you are gonna need a bigger lift.

How come you wanna go with the 20's? You can drop to a 18" wheel and tire set up and save yourself some money. I have a 2.5" coilover lift on mine and my tires measure just a bit over 34 1/2".

I just went through rimzoneonline and looked at the Fuel wheels. You could scratch out 20x10 wheels unless you want to get some serious lift. These wheels come with negative offset values. Combine that with wider rim, they won't fit with the tire size you specified.

You could make it work with 20x9. Get wheels with offset of 18 mm - 35 mm and you should have no problem. 12 mm offset might work, but it depends on truck (every truck is slightly different). I have 18 mm offset wheels with 295/70/18 tires and I am sooooo close to the body mount.

Like Virgils asked, have you considered 18 inch wheels? Personally, I prefer the look of 18 inch wheels with more rubber. The cheaper price of wheels and tires was a fringe benefit for me (not a deciding factor).

If I go with a 18 in rim with a 20mm offset and 295/70 18. I should have no problem then?

A lot of people run set-ups similar to yours without any major issues. Some minor mods may be required, such as pushing in the plastic fender liners a bit.

I have 18 mm offset wheels a with 295/70/18 and it rubs on the plastic liner a bit at full lock. These Trail Grapplers have fairly aggressive tread and are larger than spec. As soon as the weather warms up, I am going to try to use a heat gun and push the liner a bit see if that takes care of the issue. Some guys unscrews two screws at the bottom, push in the liner and rescrew. But these are fairly minor mods. You should not have to do any major mod (such as cutting the body mount).

Here is picture of my set-up.

Yes I would think you will be ok. Check the actual height of the tire you are lookin at as all tires do very some even in the same size bracket.

By the way, just to make it clear, whether or not you go with 18 inch wheels and 20 inch wheels, rubbing problems have to do with the size of overall diameter of the tire, not the size of the wheel. Some people like the look of the 18 inch wheels and some prefer the 20 inch look. 295/60/20 will be just about the same size (tiny bit smaller) as 295/70/18.

Nice job on you Tundra Chphilo! Can't wait for mine to look like that. I bought PIAA lights for my bull bar, Line X bed liner, Toyota nerf bars and put in a K&N stainless air intake. Whats better Magna flow or Flow master?

Thanks. I have no experience with either of these exhaust kits. I have the TRD cat back and love the sound. BAMuffler seems to be a very popular option for Tundra. So many people swear by his products. Keith is very knowledgeable and helpful guy. You may want to call him and see what he could do for you. http://www.bamufflers.com

I am pretty sure the thing you have to look for is how thick the front spacer is... I think the actual thickness of the spacer in thinner for the TRD shocks due to how they are set up (more stiff than the regular non TRDs). Does it say (non TRD) when you are looking at it online?

Anyone suggest a 3/1 kit that will clear 295/70/18 with a +20 offset wheel?

Any 3/1 kit should clear 295/70/18 with that offset. I personally do not like spacer lift, so I went with the OME kit.

Which tires are you looking at? By the way, not all 295/70/18 are same size. According the tire size calculator, this is 34.3 inches in diameter and 11.6 inches in width. I have Nitto Trail Grappler and, according to Nitto, it's 34.57 in diameter and 11.73 in width (72 lbs per tire ). Other tires in the same size group is somewhat smaller than this.

Yeah, I just installed the Nitto trail grapplers with a 3/1.5 leveling kit and do have rub on the inside liner behind the front bumper when backing up and turned. Kind of expected it though.
Just took a heat gun to it a minute ago, we'll see if that was enough to solve it. Good looking tires though! Compared to other MTs I've run they're surprisingly quiet too. Hardly any louder than a Duratrac.

Yes, love the look with the new tires. Originally wanted something less aggressive than an MT; Duratracs or ST Maxx's but they were either not available in this size or backordered so the Nittos got the nod.
I've wanted some trail grapplers since they came out in '07 but up til I got my '14 Tundra I've had Tacomas and 4runners and the E-rated/heavy weight had kept me away from pulling the trigger until now. So far I'm real happy but I've only put about 60 around-town pavement miles on them. Yet to hit dirt or snow(wheres the snow!?!? none around here, even by Tahoe it's hard to find) but I'm sure they'll meet or exceed my expectations.

Hey guys. I new and have read a bunch of the forums on here talking about 3/1 leveling kits and 295/70R18 tires. I'm going to put a 3/1 leveling kit on my 2011 TRD Tundra, do I need a specific leveling kit for TRD? Also I'm putting some XD Monster 18X9 wheels with +35 offset so could I run 305/70R18 Cooper S/T Maxx tires or will I have to drop back to 295/70R18?
    Thanks for any help!!

Old Man Emu. I got 3 & 1/2 lift in front.

305/70/18 is 34.8 inches in diameter and 12 inches wide. 35 mm offset is a very good offset for larger tires. You should not have any problem with that combo. There's a guy on another forum who has 35x12.5 on 35 mm offset wheels. He has Bilstein 5100 lift on highest setting (less than 3 inches of lift). He says that there's no rubbing.

Hey everybody. I've got my 03 leveled with the 3/1 already and am looking to put another 1-2" on it. What would be the best way to do that? Anything helps. Thanks

Spindles up front, or go big & just coil it up. If you go the <$ route, and get a taller strut spacer, you'll want a UCA for sure.

Not tryin to spend too much. Just didn't know if longer struts/shocks in the front and a couple add-a-leafs in the back would be the right way or just incredibly stupid lol
