Seems this would be a good opportunity for an aftermarket vendor to mfg a block of aluminum to replace the missing trans thermostat housing.

Instead of having to source a factory T-stat housing, steel lines, etc... I would be interested in running a billet block with pipe/AN fitting so I could run steel braided lines and AN hose ends to an aftermarket cooler in front of the radiator.

I cant imagine it would be all that difficult to make out of a thick block of aluminum... as the T-stat isnt even needed.

    Anyone listening ?

Trany is cooled by coolant taken from same point as the cabin heater hose. Issue is it's already 180f. Cool that 40f and your good to go. Maybe splicing a trans cooler in that coolant (hose) line will do the trick. A TSTAT bypass would nice for cold weather.

The top pic is the thermostat for 19 and 20's, not sure what the bottom two are but they aren't needed for this install.

    I split it in half.
its the two components making up the one part.
