Tie rod problem

    So unfortunately my driver side tie rod is damaged. I discovered this during an alignment on my truck today. I was wondering how severe is it, can i still drive it, how much am i looking to pay for fix etc..?

    If it’s an inner tie rod, Fair list price for the part is $90 at a repair shop. Labor will be another 75 to 120, plus an alignment for about 90. Those aren’t discount prices, those are normal retail. You can definitely get the part for much less than that if you want to do it yourself, it will take under an hour of your time, there are plenty of YouTube videos to learn how to do it, and then you can take it and have it aligned at a shop

    outer tie rod should be 75 for part, 50-60 labor plus the alignment. The outer tie rod is a 20 minute job, worst case 35 -40 minutes

    fix it before driving it if you can

    The outer tie rods are the ones closest to the door handles right?
