SOS. I must have cooked sos, aka chipped beef, a few thousand times in the Marines. Half ground beef and half ground sausage; leaving in just enough fat for the flour. Ad a bit of worchestershire sauce, pepper, and garlic. It s simple, and maybe doesn t compare with the more illustrious food dishes, but in the morning, oh man, is it good over fried spuds.

Not even then. Now if you prepared and served them separately, that would be acceptable.

No pix, but I did make breakfast sammiches

    Scrambled the eggs
    Added salt
Placed on bread, in the pan
    Added a slick of cheese
Added a slice of tomato from the garden
    Added another slice of bread
Flipped and let it get toasty for both sides.

If it's too hot to grill, it's definitely too hot to turn the oven on.

It was 101 outside. About 76 in the kitchen. Oven set at 300 for about 15 minutes, including cook time. Much better than outside in the afternoon sun on my back deck.

Slightly off topic but wind the other day tipped my smoker over. Could have been worse.

Still seems to seal off fine.

My pic sucks but tonight I made a corn salsa. It was only 101 outside :annoyed: so I also did grilled chicken tacos and roasted salsa verde (daughter likes street tacos - I think I ate six of them).

I'm starting to think that I may cook A LOT. Costco had Waygu beef patties for sale. Salted and peppered them, cooked them in a tiny bit of vegetable oil on the stove top. Emptied most of the grease (Waygu has a TON of grease) and toasted the sour dough buns in the same pan. I dare say they are as good, if not better, as Five Guys. I made a double because I eat like a big boy.
